I bought this product because I am a huge fan of all things Burt's Bees. The great thing is that this is the only lip gloss I've found that I can use on chapped lips and it actually relieves them. However, the package design is horrible and my gloss actually popped out the bottom of the container like other people have written here too. I also didn't see much of a colored tint on my lips even with all the different colors.

Hands down favorite lip gloss!!!

The gloss was nice. But the packaging SUCKS! The first tube EXPLODED as soon as gently squeezed it to put it on my lips, the second one did the same thing 3 days later. I am not holding my breath, I am sure the 3rd tube will have the same fate.

I was at a restuarant with a friend and told her that I read where the contents leak out of the bottom of the tube. I started to apply and guess what? It gushed out of the bottom! Thank goodness I had it over the table and not my lap.

I first purchased this product around six months ago. The color and texture seem perfect--flattering but natural. It is effective at moisturizing lips and looks good. Contrary to the experience of some other reviewers here, I had no problem with the tube, which I variously carry in my knapsack with books and such, or in my purse, or leave on the bathroom counter--none of these are gentle environments.

The stuff in the tube is great -- unfortunately the first time I SQUEEZED the tube of my favorite color, it came out of the bottom of the tube! I think it was a matter of the tube not being crimped securely. :>(
