I USED TO USE OPI BASE COAT AND SEPARATE OPI TOP COAT. NOW I USE THIS AS IT'S BOTH IN ONE PLUS A NAIL STRENGTHENER TOO. EASY TO APPLY, DRIES QUICKLY, FEELS COOL WHEN YOU APPLY TO NAILS. IT COSTS MORE THAN OPI BASE COAT, ETC. BUT THEN YOU ARE GETTING 3 STEPS IN ONE. I MANICURE AND PAINT MY NAILS ONCE A WEEK AND THIS OPI HOLDS UP GREAT....BUT I DO USE RUBBER GLOVES WHEN I DO DISHES OR WASH UP A FLOOR.
