I carefully read all reviews prior to ordering this product and was eager to get similar good results. I diligently applied as directed and week by week my nails got worse, breaking and peeling off at the slightest bump. I wasn't doing any hard work during this time, and even used rubber gloves for dishes. Unfortunatly, it did NOT do my nails a bit of good. In fact I question whether OPI perhaps caused damage. I did order the matte finish to be less conspicuous, perhaps the shiny finish works better. ?? I would not recommend it to anyone.

This works amazingly well. With just one application my nails stopped splitting. However, I wanted a product that would sink in and this is a polish. Although it is fairly matte, you can see the bottom lines at the base of your nails. I would prefer a product that works as well as this but disappears into my nails.

I got this product two days ago which is when I applied the first two coats as recommended. I just applied my first "every other day" coat. This is the only nail strengthener I've used that hasn't started to chip off when I get my hands wet. I am constantly washing my hands as I have cats in the house and don't like to handle their products--or them--without washing my hands.

The product does use a formaldehyde resin but there is some debate about the relative dangers of such resin, which is not the same as formaldehyde itself. OPI cautions users with sensitivity to formaldehyde. I'm waiting to see if my nails start to detach from the nail bed as they did with NailTek, or if my nail tips start to yellow.

This works!

I tend to overdo manicures and periodically wind up with dry, peeling nails. This works great to refortify my nails and, while I'm using it, I still get a natural looking manicure.

I like that it is matte and not completely clear.

I tend to use it alone -- but nail polish works well applied over it.

I have very bad arthitis. My nails peel, break & are very thin but Nail Envy Matte Finish strenthens them & makes them look very natural. I can grow them as long or as short as I want. This product is excellent in helping me to easily maintain nice looking nails.

This strenghtens as well as protects the nails. Since I started using this and the sensitive no peel nail envy, my nails have grown a lot. At first, my nails would peel, split and would not grow. I tried everything under the sun, and waisted a lot of money because I really wanted to wear my natural nails but they wouldn't grow after wearing gel nails for years. But once I stared using this, they are longer, stronger, and no peeling. I put a coat over the sensitive no peel and then when necessary like when the my polish chips. The nail envy products are expensive but worth the try, I will use this stuff forever!

Used as directed it strengthens with a great matte finish that leaves a great look. Nails look smooth, buffed and healthy without looking "painted"...all while it improves nail strength. Haven't tried over a color yet, but would imagine it would have a great look too.

I use the product almost every day. I have never found a better nail strengthener that looks nice and natural. All other nail strengtheners make my nails split and weak. This product is far superior to any other product I have ever used.

I love the more natural look of the matte polish. My nails are stronger now while looking "finished."
