This works very well, is fast, and does does not damage fine delicate hair. Finally someone came out with a great flat iron for delicate hair. The only improvement would be to place the settings so that your hand is not touching them as you are using it. You have to check the setting while styling as you can unintentionally change it.

I use this flat iron to settle down my short blunt cut color-treated frizzy hair. Perfect. I am not very good with hair implements; but this one I can handle! I like the lockable temperature as I have fine hair and don't need it super hot. It is the perfect size to fit my small-medium hands and manuevers easily. It appears well made, and my hair dresser of 25 years was happy with the choice I made. It is also a pretty color. It does not have the same colors as a piece of kitchen equipment as most other hair implements do. Very very pleased.

I love this straightner. It is so easy to use and heats up so fast. It is light weight and a little smaller than my old one so it travels much easier. It doesn't snag or pull on my hair like a lot of straightners do. It just glides down my hair. So great. I have really noticed a difference in the condition of my hair. So far the only con that I can find is the placement of the power button. It is located right where you hold the straight iron. It has taken some getting use to hold it different, but well worth it!

I have huge, thick, wavy frizzy hair that I straighten everyday. I used to have the CHI flat iron, which was amazing, until it kept breaking. I went through 3 of them in 6 months! It wasn't worth the price, so I went back to my Conair straightener. It usually took me 10-15 minutes to straighten my hair, and my hair didn't stay straight for long in humid conditions. I just got this flat iron, and I was completely surprised how great it works for the price!! At 1/3 the cost of a Chi, I'd say it comes very close to straightening my hair and keeping it straight. It also seems like this one damages my hair much less -- it looks so shiny and healthy. With this flat iron, it took me like 3 minutes to get through all of my hair! Couldn't believe it. Usually I have to go over the same section multiple times, but with this it was once and done. If you're looking for an awesome flat iron but don't want to pay ridiculous amounts for the name brand ones, BUY THIS!!

I got this in place of my ConAir straightener that worked fine but I got tired of cleaning hairs out of my sink and ripping hair out when I was running the iron though. This Remington flat iron had great reviews and it wasn't super expensive so I bought it. Very good investment for sure. It was around 50 bucks and THIS IRON DOES NOT SNAG YOUR HAIR AT ALL! Not at all. I was very happy with that. It also heats up so fast ...you will be very surprised at how fast it heats up and how hot it gets!! The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I do not like the fact that I kept hitting the temp buttons while I was using it. They put those buttons right where you hold the thing! Oh well, I am still very happy with it and it did a really nice job straightening my hair. It is now very shiny and healthy looking. I would buy another in a heart beat....hopefully I learn how to work around the temp buttons!! This is great for anyone who doesn't want to spend over a hundred dollars on an iron but still wants a nice quality straightener!! Go get one!!

I've tried a couple of flat irons and this one is by far the best. I used to plug in my last flat iron as I was starting to dry my hair to be sure it was hot enough by the time I used it. This one heats up so fast that I don't turn it on until I need it. My last one was cracked and crooked from being dropped so many times, this one has been dropped quite a bit but is still looking like new! My only con would be the placement of the button to change the temperature. I'm constantly adjusting the temperature while I'm using it because the buttons are where I hold the flat iron. I also had to learn my lesson after the first time I tried to run my fingers through some hair that I had just run the flat iron through. I burned my fingers! My brother is a hair stylist and paid $275 for his flat iron and tried this one when he came to visit and said it works just as well, if not better than the professional one he uses for work. I use this produt almost everyday and don't know what I would do if I ever lost it! Nothing has ever compared!

I have been using a straightener on my long, fine, easily-damaged hair every morning for several years now, and have tried everything from drugstore-brands to super-expensive Sephora brands in an effort to find a straightener that would get the job done without hurting my hair. THIS IS THE ONE!! This heated up quickly, glided through without a single snag, added shine, added a silky feeling and left my hair feeling unbelievably moisturized and healthy despite the heat! I love this product so much, I'm going to give it out to all my girl friends as birthday gifts.
