The best power failure light, hands down. Mine came with a Japanese Nichia LED and a German-made Varta rechargeable battery. The unit itself is made in China, but has a good build quality, and the two most important components speak for themselves. Set it, plug it in, and forget about it - and it will remind you it's there if the power goes out with its bright beam. Use it as a flashlight, too, if you like.

these are the best. I keep one plugged in all the bedrooms and set to go on if the power goes out, great for kids rooms if the power goes out. I keep one plugged in the hallway for power outages and if I have someone staying over rather then keeping lights on I keep the flashlight turned on at night so it lights your way but never goes out due to run down batteries it charges while it's plugged in. I also keep ones in the bathroom to go on if power goes out. All in all great flashlight great gifts and very inexpensive for all it can do.

i love this flashlight does everything i want it too. and comes in good use at night when i get up to eat or use the bathroom. im not tripping over everything no more.. only con i have is the flashlight is small i thought it would be bigger but it's cool i still love it!
