Don't let the low price fool you. This is a great buy. It may not get as hot as the expensive brands but it does the job. I also like the construction of it. It seems like a higher quality plastic the others in this price range. The plastic doesn't creak or flex like others like Conair do when you handle them.

I usually have trouble with this and don't like how my hair looks after use. I'm sorry I threw out my old Revlon flat iron when I got this one. Every time when I go to straighten my hair, instead of being able to comb/brush it down after using it....my hair just sticks out straight, like strings. I used to be able to curl my hair with my old one also, but with this, if you roll your hair up in it, the curl doesn't stay and it leaves a kink at the end of the curl. ??? Not crazy about this flat iron.

I love this flat iron. It is super easy to use, much easier than my 1 1/2" flat iron by a different manufacturer. It heats up fast and has kept working since I got it 6 months ago. I definitely recommend it. I have shoulder length, thick hair that is mostly straight, but tends to get wavy, and not a good wavy. So this flat iron takes care of all the weird waves I get and does it well.
