I like the old version of Selsun Blue better. The newer version (with new packaging) is too watery, so you tend to pour too much. Also it does not work as well. The product photo on the web site is of the older version and that was why I ordered it online. But what I received is the newer version. See photo attached. I am disappointed by this purchase.

Bought because I have an itchy scalp. This shampoo only helps a little bit. Would not recommend if the buyer was looking for an itchy-free scalp.

I don't have dandruff, never have. But I do have the itchy scalp going on. This is the only shampoo that takes away the itch. I like that it works, and I like the nice smell, and that it is a clear product. FYI to the reviewer whose grout stained, seal your grout. All grout is supposed to be sealed, and you proved your tiler didn't do that step. You can do it easily with sealer from your local hardware store. The shampoo itself is a winner for me.

Because of its 3% Salicylic Acid, this anti-dry scalp shampoo works better than the most common anti-dandruff shampoo. No more dry flakes and no more itchy scalp! It also rinses clean and does not leave a residue like the other shampoo does. As such, you don't need to use a clarifying shampoo every now and again to get the waxy buildup off your hair. For some strange reason, I find myself use quite a bit less of this Selsun Blue product than I did of the other one so, even though this comes in a smaller size, a bottle ends up lasting me almost as long as a larger size of the other brand. Well done, Selsun Blue!

I understand that the blue color in Selsun Blue is it there to set it apart from other dandruff shampoos, but the blue dye is totally unnecessary. It stains the shower grout! For that reason alone, I will not re-purchase.

It is the best Selsun blue up to date on market. Although you might want to consider a version with selenium sulfide for very heavy case of dandruff...

I have exzema and fight a dry itchy scalp continuously. Selsun Blue is the only non-prescription product I can use daily without any issues. This is my favorite one in the line as it doesn't have the strong medicine smell as the other Blue's. It gets rid of the flakes and leaves my hair very soft and manageable.

this stuff pretty much flat-out does not work. i've tried other selsun blue products that were more effective than this one when it comes to helping with dry/itchy scalp. my main issue is the itchy scalp part, and it felt like this product made it WORSE. i'm generally pretty tolerant when it comes to products not delivering what they advertise, but i'm wishing i could just return this one.
