Indications
Controls symptoms of diarrhea plus bloating, and cramps commonly referred to as gas.
Warnings
Allergy alert: Do not use if you have ever had a rash or other allergic reaction to Loperamide HCl.
Do not use if you have bloody or black stool.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
Fever
Mucus in the stool
A history of liver disease
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking antibiotics
When using this product: tiredness, drowsiness or dizziness may occur. Be careful when driving or operating machinery.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
Symptoms get worse
Diarrhea lasts for more than 2 days
You get abdominal swelling or bulging. These may be signs of a serious condition
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Drugstore.com is the only place that I know of where I can buy IMODIUM by the bottle. I'm so very glad that they offer it this way. The individual "punch out" packets are nice for travel but the bottle is the best for me and my needs.

I have been around awhile and have tried many things to help with lower track distress. This product works quicker and longer than anything else, even Rx meds. It is easy to dose and is very portable so it can be slipped into you pocket or bag so you can always have it near by for those unexpected times of need.

Other simethicone products don't do anything for gas. Apparently this product has a different delivery system to get the simethicone into your body, because this product does reduce gas. It also reduces diarhea. The product is expensive, & hard to find in stores, and the quantity that you get is very small. The product is good, though, but there is a lot of hassle in locating & paying for it.

I use this product daily 2 caplets after first bowl movement. It does what I need it to do, that is, stop the sudden urges to have bowl movements and frequent loose bowl movements. It allows the gas to be dispelled normally and the loose bowl movements to stop. I would like to have a coated tablet for easier swallowing. I would also like to see larger quantities available, example 60 tablets or 90 tablets.

The delivery was perfect arriving in good condition. It's to bad that a shipping fee is assessed which raises the price.
Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea. Take only on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal). Find right dose on chart. If possible, use weight to dose; otherwise, use age.
Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 caplets after the first loose stool; chew 1 caplet after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 4 caplets in 24 hours.
Children 9-11 years (60-95 lbs): 1 caplet after the first loose stool; 1/2 caplet after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 3 caplets in 24 hours
Children 6-8 years (45-59 lbs): Ask a doctor

Each caplet contains: Calcium 165 mg, sodium 4 mg
Store between 20-25°C (68-77°F)
