Abbott products have been tested for BPA using the most sensitive and conservative tests available, and levels are undetectable for all powdered products and consistently 50 times below international safety standards for other infant nutrition products.
According to the U.S. Surgeon General, "The most important thing parents can do for their babies is ensure that they receive adequate nutrition. While the best source of nutrition for babies is a mother's breast milk, infant formula remains the recommended alternative when breast milk is not an option."

i have been using similac sensitive for a while now and i'm very happy with the product. i ordered this along with some other items and received the others in partial shipment. then a week went by and still no formula. any parent knows that's too long for formula. i wrote customer service and got an auto response saying that i could write again and be heard. i did. i got a response saying it was back ordered 2-3 weeks. this is rather shocking. i was told i could log on and cancel my order at any time. i was given a 5 dollar credit but that is all. when dealing with other online services that deliver baby items i have found the customer service to be exceptional. i am not upset by the delay in availabilty but the complete lack of communication on drugstore.com's part.

Really went well with my 3 month old. She had really bad reflux and was prescribed Alamentum by the doctor, but she would not take it. Out of despiration we tried this sensitive formula and it works great. Less spit up, and less gas, but some constipation. You may want to try weakening it a bit to prevent constipation. Overall we love it.

I tried a less expensive formula at first - and I had a very fussy and gassy baby. When I switched she seemed so much happier. I wish for my pocketbook's sake that the formula was less expensice, but I am very grateful for a happy baby and it's worth the cost.
To make a larger amount of formula using a standard measuring cup, add 1 unpacked, level cup (Not the enclosed scoop) of Powder (100 g) to 23 fl oz of water. Yields approximately 26 fl oz of formula. To maintain freshness, pour prepared formula into individual feeding bottles, cap and store in refrigerator. Prepared formula should not be left unrefrigerated; use within 24 hours.
When mixed as directed, the contents of this container will make approximately 168 fl oz of formula.
