In the winter my skin is so dry and flaky it literally peels off. As a last resort before spending a fortune on visiting a dermatologist, I put this cream and I woke up with beautifully soft skin in just 12 hours, with no rough patches. I bought it because I have a dry flaky patch on my forehead and I needed an intense moisturizer. However, this cream didn't ever sink in. I was skeptical of using a heavy moisturizer because I am prone to breakouts, but this one did not clog my pores. I have used it daily for about 3 months now. It was especially great in the cold North Carolina winter. It even kept me well moisturized for 2 weeks I recently spent in the desert. I do switch to a lighter moisturizer in warmer weather because this one makes afternoon "greasies" worse in the toasty So Cal weather. The only thing I really don't like is the jar packaging.
