NOT! After seeing the "fragrance-free, dermatologist-recommended, hypo-allergenic, non-comedogenic" label on this product, I bought it, thinking it would be perfect for my extra sensitive skin. I used it before I went to sleep, and thought it worked well enough. To my horror, I woke up the next morning, face swollen and covered in itchy red blotches. HIVES! One use of this product causes a serious allergic reaction. Do NOT waste your money on this if you want to risk having your face itchy, swollen, bumpy, and red for three days. Neutrogena, you'll be hearing from me for FALSE LABELING on your products! | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Oily skin does need moisturizer added to it, so it stops over producing its own oils. Don't expect too much from your cleanser - it's not going to magically provide everything you need for your skin. I also use a very effective non-chemical exfoliant after I cleanse. With this cleanser and Dr. Eckstein's AHA Biofruit Liposomen I've never had more beautiful skin than I do at 41. Right now my skin is extra oily because it's summer in the south. This cleanser makes my skin glow after I use it, instead of red like from other cleansers. It has NOT caused any clogged pores. I think it does a good job of removing makeup, but you have to cleanse a little extra around the eyes. I definitely feel the moisture it adds in, but it does not feel greasy to me; it makes my skin comfortable and refreshed. LOVE IT!!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||

He told me that it compares to many high end facial cleansers at 1/10th the cost. It's been amazing! I love the way it doesn't overdry my skin, yet doesn't leave it feeling greasy. It has greatly calmed my skin.

Gentle it was, but thorough it was not. I started breaking out in my T zone after I started using it; when I went back to my standard cleanser, my skin cleared up. The cleanser didn't clean my skin well enough, because I would check with toner afterward and there was always residue left behind. I can't say that this cleanser wouldn't be good for someone with dry skin, it just didn't work for my oily skin, although after washing it would make my skin tight. I also used it, because I thought if I used a gentle cleanser it would help with my breakouts. I was so wrong, it broke my face out worse than what it was. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

You can use it without water if you're in a hurry or with if you want a really clean feeling. I use it without water since my skin tends to get dry.
