This is the perfect product for sensitive skin or skin tired of harsh products. Do not let the "watered down" lotion fool you-it does clean very well, especially if you spend the time massaging your face for a minute or two to increase circulation. I use it on dry or slightly spritzed skin to avoid a runny experience. You can also tissue off after instead of rinsing off. If you have oily skin or wear heavy make-up, this is not the cleanser for you. For mascara removal, you have to apply a couple of times or use an eye makeup remover. My skin looks refreshed and soft afterward, not tight and irritated.

I love this cleanser, but it took me the second time around to figure it out. I have slightly dry skin, and this cleanser works really well. It takes of makeup, even my mascara, and gets my face clean without stripping. I didn't like it as much when I bought it, so I put it away and when I came back to it, a year later, it is my fave product at the moment!

This product may work well for very very sensitive skin. However, I am not a big fan. I used it for about a month and it always left my face feeling greasy. The bottle says that it adds moisture back to your face, and that is no lie. However, I would rather get my moisture from a moisturizer. When I wash my face, I want it to feel clean, not oily.

This product is the worst. Look at the ingredients, it has more ingredients than any other products you see on the shelf. Plus it also contains alcohol. My skin became more irritated while using it than without it, and I also broke out more. Now I use Liquid Neutrogena Fragrance free cleanser and my skin reacts a lot better.

I think a lot of women don't know what their skin type is. I know I DIDN'T. I thought I had combination skin, oily in the T-zone and dry on my cheeks and forehead. I WAS WRONG. The oil and dryness were both caused by harsh cleansers and heavy moisturizers, as were my enlarged, often clogged pores. Turns out MY SKIN IS CRAZY SENSITIVE -- that I break out every time I shave my underarms and bikini line should have been a sign of this. Duh. Just a couple of days, using this cleanser, and MY SKIN HAS CALMED DOWN A LOT. I apply it to dry skin, and then use a facial brush, an H2O Plus one I bought from Amazon.com, to exfoliate. It rinses clean, and while I haven't decided on a permanent, light night moisturizer yet or a sunscreen for during the day, I'm confident that NEUTROGENA EXTRA GENTLE CLEANSER IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME.

Very mild, gentle cleanser. Non-foaming. Great for winter. Doesn't dry skin out. Not heavy enough to remove heavy eye makeup, but makes my skin very happy. Soft, clean, not at all tight. My skin loves it.

If you have sensitive, breakout prone or rosacea skin, this is a fabulous cleanser! It lives up to its name -- extra gentle. Detergent-based cleansers were wreaking havoc on my complexion. This cleanser has calmed down some redness and evened out my skin tone. My skin feels softer too. However, if you wear heavy makeup, I recommend removing makeup with Pond's Cold Cream first.

This is a terrible product. First of all, it smells horrible. I know it's fragrance-free, but it could smell a lot better and it doesn't clean very well at all. I was very disappointed in this product, especially considering how much it costs. I will go back to my Cetaphil Facial Cleanser because it works and smells a lot better for the same price.

I have combination skin - very oily and also very dry around my mouth and chin. I was getting very dry, flaky skin that looked horrible, and tried this cleanser in the hopes that it would help the flakes disappear - within one day they were all gone, and no other cleanser or moisturizer (and no amount of exfoliating) helped at all before this. I find that it cleans very well, I have oily, breakout prone skin and I have not found this product to be greasy or irritating at all. I love it.

This cleanser doesn't clean at all! Don't waste your money buying this!
