This product is great to use in the morning, the tingly feel is a really good wake up call, and although I have combo to acne prone skin, it's not too oily for me, well...it used to be, but I found a way to work around it. I use an oil free moisturizer instead of the oilier sunblock, and then put on makeup products with SPF, because I believe in SPF and don't leave the house without it. Anyway, since I don't use any other Neutrogena products and I only use this in the morning, I don't really know if it works well.

Love the tingly feel. This is my first-time trying a cream cleanser and I am pleased.

The very first time I used this product, I was amazed at how clear and bright my skin looked. My skin felt so fresh after, it also has this tingly feeling to it. That's one of the reasons I loved it so much. Unfortunately, my high praise for this product was short lived. My skin constantly adapts to the products I use so I was really disappointed when it stopped working, but all in all, I think this is a really great product.

This is a pretty good cleanser. I don't understand why people say that it makes their face burn...it doesn't! Anyway, it does make skin smooth and it's good to use in the morning because it has a tingly feeling, and my skin feels refreshed. However, I still get acne but not very much, and I have used this a while so I guess this cleanser has kept away most acne. Use this if you want smooth, refreshed skin -- but I think it would be better if you don't have too many acne problems.

This stuff makes my skin tingle. Therefore I know that it is too harsh for dry, sensitive skins. If you are looking for something gentle, avoid this one. I continue my search for a mild cleanser!!

I can't use this as a daily cleanser because it makes my face hurt after a couple of days, but I bought Pond's Dry Skin Cream and smooth it on right after I use the Neutrogena in the shower and I haven't had any more problems! This product is excellent and does exactly what the label says - it improves the look of your face! I think it makes it smoother and softer! I have sensitive skin, but I think this cleanser is fantastic!

I have had the same experience as many of you- if I use it as a daily cleanser my skin gets very dry and irritated. I stopped using it as a cleanser but now use it as a spot treatment when I get a blemish from stress or hormones. It works really well; I just pat a bit onto the spot and leave it over night. So if you are someone who bought it and found it too harsh as a cleanser, perhaps you could try it as a treatment.

If you want the salicylic acid to effectively kill the bacteria, you need to wait 5 minutes before rinsing. I did it and my skin is simply burned -red, extremely dry, and feels like a tennis shoe sole. When I put moisturizing on, it burns -everything does now. I bought this in a hurry and did not read the ingredients: it contains a lot of alcohol. Please, PLEASE, don't use this! :(

I did not like this product. It made my skin flaky and it was so dry, and it burned for days!

I really like this stuff. Believe it or not, I have really sensitive skin that usually breaks out when I try anything new. I didn't break out when I used this, I didn't get dry patches, plus I love how you feel a tingle after you wash with this. I also like the ultra creamy texture, plus I think it does a good job removing my face makeup. For the price you can't beat it. I'm trying the scrub next.
