I use these to apply liquid astringent on my face. I soak the astringent into the cotton-round and wipe on my face. The lint from the cotton-round often ends up in my eyes, and it's really a nuisance. I won't buy these again for this use.

Thought I was getting the Swisspers that are made in Switzerland that were softer and better made.
These are not of the same quality and only for a few cents less...

I do not write reviews unless a product has changed drastically. I originally purchased these rounds a few months ago. The old rounds were tightly woven on both sides and bound around the edge. They held liquid and cream products very well and did not fall apart. They were great to use. The NEW rounds are very loosely made; not bound, and come apart BEFORE any product is used. Same packaging but an entirely different product. You would be better off just using cotton balls. A total waste of money. I definitely would not recommend.

Swisspers products are tightly woven and resist shredding. I use them primarily for skin care, but they are great for applying Neosporin, peroxide and other skin treatments.

I use this to apply an astringent to my face. It's not too thick and not too thin and, best of all, doesn't fall apart like many brands I've used. Among the best products of its kind that I've used! I highly recommend it.

Those cotton rounds are absolutely horrible. They leave small white tissues all over your face! The package advises that it is perfect for "all your cosmetic needs"--what a shame! They are absolutely useless for any purpose. I would have given it negative stars if it were possible! Swisspers must have used cottons of very poor quality to make those rounds. They fall apart after the slightest pull. I bought Swisspers cotton rounds about 5 years ago--the quality was fine. I have no idea that the quality of their products has gone down so much in these few years!

much easier to use than a cotton ball and doesn't asorb alot of my toner so that I end up wasting toner and throwing it away. I like these better than a cotton ball.

These cotton rounds are the softest and strongest! They aren't scratchy like many but soft and absorbent. Just want I want for removing eye make-up or applying astringent. They are also strong enough for applying nail polish remover.
