I have subscribed to this product, so that I don't go without. Great to have a whole food vitamin out there for people with absorption issues, or illness. The taste is strong citrus, green smoothie like. You only take a 1oz shot, so I don't know why some posts put down the taste. It's a VITAMIN, not a sugar drink. Besides, it can be mixed in yogurt, juice, or a smoothie.

I've been taking Alive for years. It's nutrition you can feel, and I can tell the difference if I miss. I feel healthier and I am healthier when I take it. They've got the right name for it.

A couple of tablespoons a day and you receive many, many nutrients your body desires in addition to your already healthy diet. This product absorbs into your body almost immediately. It is by far the best supplement I have ever used. YES, the taste is NOT pleasant; however, keep in mind the nature of most of the ingredients. In their raw form, many of these ingredients would not be flavorful. The BENEFITS far outweigh the taste. Perhaps a spoonful with a glass of cranberry or strong tasting juice? Maybe even with some honey? Honestly two unpleasant spoonfuls a day is nothing compared to a starving/ sick body. I would highly recommend this to almost ALL Americans who get almost none of these ingredients in their body from daily food consumption. I would personally recommend this product to anyone seeking a healthier, less sickly life. Thank you Natures Way!

I had cancer and chemo three years ago and nothing has worked to build my white, red and platelet counts since that time until I tried this product and it worked. I will always use it and the benefits far outweigh the taste.

After my mentor told me that this product was able to regulate her hot flashes, I was certain it would help me with my being cold natured due to iron deficiency. Well, it has done more... it gives me energy (w/ in 3 hours), minerals, vitamins, and over the last year I have noticed fewer hormone issues... (similar to my mentor). All and all it is the best food / vitamin decision I have ever made.
Dose: I take in the a.m. before work or p.m. before bed w/ 4oz of OJ and 4oz Green Juice. When I first started I use to get queazy after a full dosage 1) b/c I wasn't use to it, 2) b/c I was taking it on an empty stomach. Since I have upped my dosage to a full and only take after a meal or eat a meal with in 30min of me taking it.

This is a very high quality multivitamin liquid that is much easier to use than the Alive brand tablets which are huge. I was hoping that the citrus flavor would be predominant. However, the taste is truly awful. The only way I have found to use it and be able to tolerate it is to put it into very thick, very large smoothie milkshakes. Since we use 4 or more kinds of whole fruit in our smoothies, taking the vitamin liquid at the same time is like guilding the lily.

People who do not mind the taste of ground up or liquified strongly flavored "serious green things" might not have a problem with the taste of this liquid.

Due to our taste sensitivities I will not be ordering this product again. We will continue to concentrate on eating plenty of real foods and do without the extra vitamin supplement.

this product was sounding so good until i read that the B's are not balanced. for best absorption and effect they should be balanced at either 25mg or 50mg, 50 being the best. not some at 25mg and others at 50mg. time released is even better yet. so Alive, make those B's (except for B12 of course) 50 mg and i would be thrilled to buy this product. i already take the majority of these ingredients some in combined and some in seperate form. i would love to do it all in liquid form in one shot!

I first tried adding the liquid to orange juice which was OK. Adult son hates anything green!!! Then put it over some ice and added Apple Juice and "hey, that's not bad!"

i have been using this product for 3 weeks now. Liquid is the best way to take a vitamin and this is a simple one time daily shot. The taste is a terrible but you get used to it. Just wash it down with some water and the taste goes away. The liquid is green and on the thick side. It gives me energy to get through my day. I finally feel like I am getting all the vitamins I need. I do take fish oil too but thats it. This product is worth the quick bitter swallow. You just have to give it a few days.
