I like these probiotics because they don't need to be refrigerated; I'm more likely to take them if I see them on my kitchen counter than if they're hidden in the fridge. I take 2 per day, and I think they help keep my digestion strong and prevent colds. That said, I am going to try Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics 12 Plus when this bottle runs out, just to see if I can't find something better out there. I've been on the Primal Defense for years and sometimes it's just good to try something new.

Six years ago I was hospitalized with cellulitis, put on heavy antibiotics, and left the hospital with C.diff (a horrible bacteria that is very hard to treat and causes SEVERE chronic diarrhea). I was then put on heavy anti-bacterial drugs for the c.diff but it kept coming back. This lasted for at least six months. Finally, I decided to treat it naturally and tried several leading probiotics and the Primal Defense was the one that worked and cured me of my c.diff.

I started taking this probiotic based on a friend's recommendation who has diverticulitis and raved about her results. I simply had IBS issues and noticed a difference within a couple of weeks. I only took one pill a day with great results. After 8 months of taking the pills, I ran out and simply kept forgetting to reorder. After 3 weeks without my pills, I realized I was using antacids (which I hadn't touched in months), I felt tired, had my first cold in 8 months AND all my IBS issues were back. I will not go without this probiotic ever again. (However, you can get it much cheaper on other websites)

I had read reviews before buying so hoped for the best. I saw no results at all.
Suggested Use: Adults take 1 caplet 3 times per day with 8 ounces of water or juice. Best taken on an empty stomach. Begin with 1 caplet per day and gradually increase to suggested amount.
