I use loofah mits all the time, but I have been living abroad for many years, so this is the first one I bought since moving back to the States. Its very, very hard, and has not softened up with time/use. I will not buy this again, ever.

Like the reviewer below, I too instantly received a lovely rash on my chest from this loofah. At first, I thought my new body wash was the culprit. But upon further online research, I've found I'm not the only one who has an itchy rash after using this. I'm used to rougher loofahs (I love the ET Hydro Towel), but I guess the veggie fibers were just too irritating for me. Just keep that in mind, if you intend on purchasing!

Works as expected. It's a little larger than my hand which can make it a little difficult for me to hold and control. For me, it would be better if it were a little smaller.

Otherwise, it softens and plumps up when wet and is good at removing dead skin and loosening up ingrown hairs in and out of the shower.

It is thicker and less flexible in my hand than what I'm used to, but the thickness seemed to allow for a more foamy experience with the shoewr gel. It seemed fairly well made. BUT it gave me a very itchy rash for weeks for which I've had to get medication. I'm not a person with sensitive skin.

I bought this loofah pad about two months ago and have used in every shower since. I can't really think of anything bad to say about it. It has been durable, it fits my hand nicely, and is solid the way I like it - I haven't ever liked floppy, soft washcloths. It exfoliates beautifully and with the cost of [$] I think I have definitely gotten good value for my money.

I use liquid soaps and gels, and in applying those products to the loofah, I find that they just seem to disappear. I am better off using a nylon scrubby.
