Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 109 customer reviews. So far so good
by Steve[Verified Buyer] in Lake Worth, Fl on 11/20/09
Pros: Easy To Use, Seems to work
Cons: none
Describe Yourself: Casual User
Best Uses: Whitening
Bottom Line: recommended
The strips are working great. I used 10 of them and my teeth are much whiter. The product is easy to use and I am very happy with it but I won't know how good it is until some time passes. If it wears off in 3 weeks than it was waste of money. If it lasts for a decent amount of time then its great. Only time will tell.

by City Girl[Verified Buyer] in Kennett Square, PA on 11/19/09
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use
Describe Yourself: Casual User
Best Uses: Whitening
Bottom Line: recommended
Used the strips to help whiten and brighten my teeth as I tend to eat and drink alot of things that can stain teeth (coffee, red wine, etc.) I have used strips in the past and these are easier to use. Once you put them on they stay in place. I didn't notice results in 3 days as advertised. I noticed results in 6-7 days. My teeth are whiter and brighter! I am very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this product.
Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal rates 4 out of 5 stars, from 109 customer reviews.Improved, but bottom strip too small
by SAS_sensei[Verified Buyer] in Poulsbo, WA on 11/18/09
Pros: Adheres Well, Easy To Use, Less Unpleasant Taste
Cons: Bottom strip too small
Describe Yourself: Frequent User
Best Uses: Whitening
Bottom Line: recommended
After using the previous generation of Crest whitening strips, "Crest Whitestrips Classic" over several months, I switched to Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal. The whitening seems about the same with Advanced Seal, and this product is improved in that the strips are less 'goopy', although it does take some grimacing effort to remove them at the end of the 30 minutes. These new strips do stick to my teeth better than the Classic strips, but they are significantly flawed in one respect: the bottom strip is not wide enough, and only covers securely about 5 of my lower teeth. But when I smile, I show 6 to 8 of them. If I used the bottom strips exactly as shown on the box, I'd have four very white teeth in the center of the line of my lower teeth, and much more yellow ones to either side. So what I've started doing is putting the strips on off-center on the bottom: first I'll put one over to the right to cover the right half of my lower front teeth, then the next day I'll put the bottom strip over to the left, to cover the left half of my lower teeth. (To make remembering this easier I use a Sharpie marker to mark half the packets with an 'R' and half the packets with an 'L', and then alternate the packets in the box.) Although it takes longer that way to get my lower teeth whitened, at least all the ones that show when I smile will eventually get whiter. It completely mystifies me why Crest would make the upper strips quite abundantly long, and the lower strips so shrimpy in comparison. And it's not like I have abnormally huge lower teeth, either. My hope is that someone affiliated with Crest will read this review, or some of the other reviews that have remarked on the same problem with the lower strip size, and that will lead to further improvements.

Very easy to apply, especially the lower teeth, and we like the feature of once a day use instead of two.

I can see some improvement, but not as much as I expected. Product was easy to use overall. Too pricey in my opinion.

Pros: Durable, Easy To Use
Cons: Pricey, Too Harsh
Describe Yourself: Casual User
Best Uses: Whitening

I really like these Whitestrips - the advanced version is very easy to use. You can even drink water while using and there's absolutely no slipping of the strip. The only drawback with this, and other versions, is that my teeth get very sensitive, so I'm not able to do the full 14 days consecutively. I use Sensodyne, also, but my teeth still become sensitive. So, I use them less frequently than I'd like, but enough so that my teeth stay very white - despite my coffee, wine, and blueberry habit :) These are also more expensive than other versions, but coupons and deals are always available.
Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 109 customer reviews.great results, no pain!
by Holly H[Verified Reviewer] in San Francisco, CA on 11/12/09
Pros: Clean Teeth, Cleans Hard To Reach Spots, Durable, Easy To Use, Gentle On Gums
Describe Yourself: Casual User
Best Uses: Daily Use, Whitening
Bottom Line: recommended
I use these strips every other day when I am in the shower. They are amazing. I was nervous about mouth pain after reading some reviews, because I have sensitive teeth and very sensitive gums. I have been using these for almost four weeks and have the whitest smile I can imagine and not one second of pain. There was a second of panic when I couldn't figure out how to best get the strips off my teeth the first time I used them, they are well adhered!, but just peel from the side or the back of your teeth to pry them off.

I have tried teeth whitening kits (with gel, liquid, strips...all kinds) and this is the best product I have used so far. They are very easy to use; I can go about my chores while wearing them and forget they're there. Best of all, they really do make a huge difference in the color of my teeth. They're now bright bright bright...lookout world!
Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal rates 3 out of 5 stars, from 109 customer reviews.Pretty good but professional is better!
by Karla[Verified Buyer] in Plano, Texas on 11/8/09
Pros: Easy To Use, Gentle On Gums
Describe Yourself: Dental assistant
Best Uses: Whitening
Bottom Line: recommended
I bought this product because I was curious about how it works so I could relate to patients who used it. The AquaSeal technology is superior to any other whitening strip, hands down. The whitening capabilities are pretty good (it's a two week program) for people who have whitened professionally and need a touch up. I doubt it would accomplish much for first-time whitening, though. As always, drugstore.com has it at an amazing price so it's certainly worth a try before you call your dentist for in-office whitening (which really, really works).
