This is the absolute best shampoo for color treated hair! Can be used for any hair type, but I believe it is a must for color treated hair. I use this shampoo about twice a week to combat frizzy hair and keep my color looking fresh. It saves me money by keeping my red hair from fading so I don't spend so much on hair color. It lathers well, smells wonderful, it's gentle, and it cleans thoroughly. It is everything you could ever want from a shampoo. You only have to use a small amount, so the tube lasts me a long time... usually 5 or 6 months, maybe longer. Give it a try!! I just know that you will love it as much as I do.

i'm in my late twenties and have tried everything out there (salon and drugstore shampoos). my hair is straight, normal and i do have a little dandruff. i've been using the shampoo for 2 weeks now and i must say WOW. my hair looks healthier, smells great, i've noticed my dandruff problem is gone and in between shampoos, (i shampoo every other day) my hair doesn't look oily. i don't know what kind of magic ingredient this shampoo has but thats what it feels like. it is now my one and only shampoo and i need not search any further.

I have thick, coarse, dry hair with an oily scalp. I decided to try this product because, despite not coloring my hair, being sulfate and salt free, it seemed gentle enough to use without stripping my hair of its natural oils, which is always a problem for me whether I use conventional or "natural"/"organic" products. I had originally tried the Moisture Shampoo in a trial size and then decided to purchase this Smooth shampoo since my thick hair can be mildly frizzy/in need of taming. So far, the only benefit I can say I've discovered is that it's "gentle," but possibly too gentle to address my hair and scalp needs.

I like the moisture shampoo. It lathers well and is very gentle on my color treated hair/hair extensions. It smells great and the product is a good value. I purchased the Moisture Conditioner and Masque and neither one of the conditioners worked for me.

I'm so glad I have found this shampoo! I have graying hair that I use a semi-permanent color on every six weeks or so. Obviously this will take it's toll. This shampoo has made all the difference in the world! It has greatly reduced frizz without weighing my hair down like others I have tried. As a bonus- it smells great!!! It's not perfumey or flowery but has a lovely light herbal scent that meshes very well with the rosemary body wash and lotion that I use. If you like heavy perfume or floral scents, this won't be for you.

I don't have color-treated hair but I switched to this because my scalp was irritated and itchy and this is sulfate-free. This new product is a gentle, natural shampoo and I had coupons so I bought some more! My scalp sensitivity and itchiness went away since I switched to this. I also have the "moisture" version of this and don't really notice any difference between the two but they both give me the same great results. I also love the Rosemary/Juniper smell, which is more natural, not fruity or too perfumy like other shampoos. I highly recommend it!!

Excellent with well water. This product works even better than the more expensive salon "well-water" shampoos. Smells Great and my hair is fabulous. Even works well with city water, but this is an amazing find for use with well water. I do not have colored hair, but decided to try it because it is free of sulfates. If you have well-water, give this a try

I've tried using sulfate free products in the past but the lack of lather has always bothered me. I have a pretty oily scalp and need the lathering to feel clean. This shampoo & the conditioner work great for me! I use about a quarter sized amount, which I always read on directions but have never been able to get away with this small amount. I have long thinner hair that goes about halfway down my back. Normally I need to load up on a lot of conditioner to just detangle my hair after a shampoo, but not with this. My hair feels clean, but is not dry. I color my hair red, which is famous for fading. Normally I want to hide my hair the week before my color and I color every 6 weeks. Not since using this! My hair looks bright, even that last week.
