I sun burn very easily. After a day at the beach with sun burning, I applied this every day for a few days and did not have any peeling. I also used it on a large bruise, I don't know if it really did anything for that but it felt nice. Only downsides are bottle does not have a pump, so it can be a little messy. It also does not smell great but I think that is worth it for the product.

I purchased this because I love the Ocean Potion Hemp Seed Lotion and my DIL had a bottle OP Ice Relief w/ my granddaughter burned her finger and I noticed how quickly it soothed her. I tend to burn myself quite a bit when I bake, so I decided to order a bottle for myself. I had no clue that FedEx would deliver so soon. I had just made biscuits, and burned my arm! Any other time, I would have a nasty blister, but this time, I used the OP Ice Relief and it barely turned pink. I love Ocean Potion products! And drugstore.com

Been using this product for years. If you continue to use product two weeks after sunburn good chance you will not peel.
