I always have this but never saw it in a pump --love it. I am african American and use it to twist my locs. The fact that its natural aids alot in not having buildup or flakiness although I am concerned about the ingredients which I cannot pronounce. Still, it works for me and when I want to cool my skin-I reach for it.
This would be great with a NATURAL scent like rosemary essential oil or lemon.

After reading all the great comments here, I decided to give aloe vera a try. My intention was to use it as facial mask and wash it off before taking a shower. I applied it 15 min. before shower time. As soon as I put it on my facial, avoided eye areas, my eyes felt stinging and began to water. My skin felt very tight after only 5 min., so I had to jump in the shower. I gave this product about 5 other tries, applied on my legs, feet, arms. But again, it made my skin very dry and tight. Not sure how others said it's moisturizing?!!

I get very painful rashes on the backs of my legs, it's basically an allergy to the sun, similar to lupus. Every summer if my legs are exposed to the sun for even the shortest amount of time imaginable, you better believe that the next day I'm going to have a painful and extremely itchy pimplely type rash covering the back of my legs. Itching my legs causes a lot of irritation, and breaks the skin. When I would apply even the most neutral lotions for sensitive skin, it would burn like crazy and leave my legs sticky for a long time. I finally decided to try this aloe gel. I had been looking for one to try for a while and I was excited to find that this one was unscented. And it really is unscented. It doesn't burn or irritate my skin when I put it on my rashes. I wouldn't say that it does anything to cure my rash, but it does provide immediate relief. It dries really fast and isn't sticky at all. I imagine this would be great for cooling a sunburn. I'm really happy with this choice of aloe gel and I really like that it has a pump.

I've used Fruit of the Earth clear aloe gel for years, and have always thought it the best aloe for all 'round use. The big U.S. flag printed on the outside of the bottle and the note next to the flag that it's "Proudly Made in the U.S.A." had me thinking it was an all U.S. product until I happened to notice a very (very) small-print (tiny print) explanation near the bottom of the bottle that it is "Made in the U.S.A. with U.S. and foreign parts." Really dislike that kind of deceptive advertising, but I will continue to use it as my main go-to for aloe gel. I do like that they don't add any coloring, for example. I'm just disappointed it isn't an all-U.S.-made product, and wonder how much of the aloe comes from foreign countries, and which ones. Skin gels do soak into the skin and I try to use products that I trust are made with healthy ingredients.

I use this as a hand sanitizer by mixing half aloe gel with half rubbing alcohol (higher percentage is better) and shake well until it dissolves and blends which it will do mostly on its own. I like this brand because it's thicker and clearer than other aloe products.
