After doing a lot of reading about the possible harmful effects of flouride on bones (I have osteoporosis), I decided to try to find a flouride-free toothpaste. There is also a lot of debate about carrageenan as an additive, so I tried to avoid that as well. Powersmile has a great taste and smooth consistency, and leaves my mouth feeling very clean.

I've been buying fluoride free toothpastes for years and never really developed any brand loyalty until now. My husband and I both enjoy this toothpaste.

The flavor, texture, and enzymes all are great. An excellent natural whitening toothpaste.

I enjoy using this toothpaste. I rotate with another that has flouride because I'm uncertain about the whole flouride debate. I usually use this in the morning. The taste is a mild peppermint, it doesn't burn and leaves my mouth feeling clean. I do find it really does brighten teeth which seems to be temporary, but does last most of the day. I like that it seems not as harsh with its whitening properties and gives a natural looking brightness. I do find it a bit pricey. I have purchased it only on sale. I would not be able to afford it at the full price.

Although it's too soon to see any whitening effects (have not used for even 2 full weeks yet), I do like the feel of my teeth after brushing with this toothpaste - like I just had a cleaning.

I had been using Crest VividWhite religiously for over ten years and it never did much of anything to prevent cavities, and it absolutely NEVER did whiten my teeth. I did a lot of reading about fluoride and SLS, and decided I wanted to switch to a more natural toothpaste. Jason PowerSmile enzyme gel made my teeth very visibly whiter in less than one tube (I have never had a whitening toothpaste actually work to whiten my teeth and I also drink coffee daily). Since I started using this I find that I want to brush my teeth more (than 2x a day), because it gets EVERYTHING off my teeth and they are so shiny and squeaky clean that I can feel a huge difference before and after eating; conventional big-brand toothpastes (crest/colgate/etc) tend to all leave a 'film' on your teeth so they never quite feel clean and you just get used to your teeth feeling slightly dirty. Because this toothpaste super-cleans my teeth without leaving the filmy residue I associate with SLS containing toothpastes, I can also eat shortly (<5mins) after brushing my teeth without everything tasting offensively awful. Also? I take good care of my teeth now, but I have a long history of cavities stemming from not taking great care of them (and tons of soda-drinking) when I was a kid. Because of this, I was having problems with tooth sensitivity to cold and sweet foods; since using the powersmile enzyme gel, my sensitivity is gone.

In my quest for healthy toothpaste I first tried the red box Jason Powersmile non-gel paste to similar squeaky-clean results, until I visited my mom and her dog ate it (I was halfway through the tube). While I liked that toothpaste, the mint flavor was very strong (took a couple days to get used to) and it did not whiten my teeth the way that this toothpaste does. I also found that the paste would sometimes get stuck in my toothbrush and be difficult to rinse out. Thankfully, I decided to get the enzyme gel instead when I went to her local 'healthy' grocery store to replace my toothpaste. Anyway, the consistency of this gel is perfect; you have to apply practically no pressure to get it out of the tube and on to your brush, and I have no problems with getting it to rinse clean. Because it is on the runny side, I don't even need to wet my brush before brushing with it (I just rinse it off after brushing).

I may die if they ever stop making this toothpaste. After around six months of using Jason, I still find myself running my tongue over my teeth all the time and marveling at how smooth and clean my teeth are. Try this. You won't ever want to go back to conventional toothpaste (I know I won't).

This is the best toothpaste. Free from the harmful ingredients other companies use in tooth care products. I would HIGHLY recommend this toothpaste to others who are on their way towards complete health and purity.

Not too minty and great for multiple uses during the day. I am allergic to fluoride, so my toothpaste options are limited. The dentist always says I have some of the cleanest teeth he sees, so it must work!

I think this is a great toothpaste! Though after using Crest and Colgate for so long I do notice that my teeth don't stay as clean as long as they did with the other chemical filled toothpaste. However, it could just be that I am not using a product that is attacking my enamel and I just brush more often.
