This is a no-brainer. It is affordable, it works as well as anything on the market and is gentler than some, smells better than most, and Still does a thorough job in a single use. That it comes with a post-use refreshing gel is a bonus. I have nothing negative to say about it or about any Hansen produt. They do the job, they are affordable, this one smells fine, unlike some, and Never leaves a rash or uneven skin tone and absolutely Does remove facial hair. The gel afterward calms down the skin and assures no rash or discomfort, which is quite a plus. Very happy with the Hansen product line.

The old formula in a different tube worked wonderfully however if left on for too long it would dry out and burn. 5 mins were enough. Now since they changed the tube(lid is different) I apply leave it on for 5 mins and no hair comes off, if I leave it on longer it burns but STILL no hair off. I went back to the leftovers of my old one but im running out so Im switching to another brand.

I am Indian with course hair. This works for the thin hair like the upper lip but course hair no go. It does leave a burning sensation but it's a creme that removes hair you can't have it all. I have oily skin and are prone to acne and the soothing lotion it comes with has oil in it so I will be using something else or nothing. So far it is decent if with continued use hair gets finer or lessen is yet to be ddetermined.

Miss the "brush on creme hair remover". This new formula does not work if you have thick/coarse facial hair. When I was a teen my big sister made fun of me for just a few facial hair and so I had used a razor/shaver (not a good decision), so even today my facial hair is thick esp near the chin.
This will not work if you have thicker facial hair. This did remove some hair near the cheeks but those are very thin. The hair above the lips ("mustache area") and the chin hair cannot be removed with this. This is very gently though, maybe too gentle to be effective.

I've been using facial depilatory (Nair Sensitive for Faces) for almost a decade for the somewhat dark and fast-growing upper lip and chin "sprouts" I've had seen my late teens. I wanted to try something new since the Nair seemed to be burning more and removing less hair lately. This Sally Hansen product got about half "love it" and half "hate it" reviews, but better ones than the competitors', so I bought it.

Well, the reviewer(s) who said it burned IMMEDIATELY were right; I felt it burn within seconds, but it didn't last, so I stuck it out (hey, I'm used to depilatories). I left it on for the maximum recommended time (8 mins.), which may have been too long -- when I wiped it off with a lukewarm-water-soaked cotton makeup pad, it BURNED so badly! I could barely touch it to my face, let alone use enough "force" to wipe the hair off! So needless to say it didn't get all the hair off. So great, I was left with stinging, red splotches AND stubble that I wouldn't be able to pluck or use my Nair on for a few days! The next day you could definitely tell I'd done "work" on my upper lip b/c it was still somewhat red, and I also had tiny, red spots like shaving nicks that had scabbed over, which my makeup didn't even cover.

The after-lotion was a nice touch, and now I understand why they include it: to soothe the burning. It was very painful to apply at first and made it sting even WORSE, but within a few moments it seemed to calm it for a little while. I wouldn't mind the chemical burn so much IF it works and removes all the hair, but this didn't -- not even close.

Bottom line: it doesn't remove all hair, and it BURNS. And this is coming from an experienced depilatory user.

This product does work. It removes facial hair. I have sensitive skin. I started using this product yesterday and the creme burns my skin. The creme has an unpleasant scent too. My skin was irritating and after I removed the creme and washed my face, my face had small red patches or rashes. My skin no longer felt smooth. It felt rough and I hope those red patches do not turn into scars. I do not recommend this product to buyers with sensitive skin.
