I was searching for the best (function and value) travel dryer and bought this model and another one cost 4-5 times more by the brand famous for superlite dryers model 7010. Both with tourmaline and dual voltage. This conair model is 1200 watt and the other brand is 1600 watt. Weight and size are about the same. The expensive one is slightly less noisy, does not require voltage setting change and has folding handle. This conair model actually dries hair faster (long thick straight hair). I used this mini dryer in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia without problem.
When plugged into 220V/240V outlet (dont forget to change setting on the handle), the high setting button doesn't work but the power on low is as strong as high setting on 110V. I wish it had different type of plug (like iphone charger type). I need outlet adapters in most countries.
I like it so much I use it as home and left the big professional dryer I have in storage.

I was shocked to see a bad review for this little jewel! I LOVE it. It is the lightest weight, fast drying blow dryer I have ever owned. Perfect for travel BUT I am ordering a second one to keep in my travel bag so I can use the original one for everyday.

I should have thought this through. Two settings are not enough. A medium setting would be nice as well. The picture shows a very atractive hair dryer in white. The one I got is a very BRIGHT HOT PINK , almost red. Don't like the color at all. The diffuser does not fit on well without struggling with it. It did not make my hair shiny. The best part about it is that it is very lightweight, and the storage case is very nice. I threw all the packaging and paperwork away too quickly. ( I usually throw things out right away.) I should have thought more about it and returned it.
