Great hairspray! Just the right weight without heaviness yet holds my short do in place. Smell reminds me of cotton candy and is sometimes a bit too sweet. But not awful. Easy to comb out at the end of the day.

My hairdresser uses this product on me and has taught me that a little spray goes a long way...or you can spray heavily and your hair will not move. My short hair can be a little fly away during the winter months. I like to style my hair and spray, wait a few minutes, and then comb it out. I'll then comb it into place again and spray using my hairdresser's technique. It does tend to come out in a "cloud" so be careful of what's in your immediate vicinity (I'll cover my cell phone if I have it with me), and I have to clean the bathroom counter every other day or so because of the film it leaves behind. But, hey, it's worth it. If you're looking for a spray that will give you serious hold if you need it, this one won't disappoint.

I use this product sparingly every day. It does control my babyfine hair. With rootboost and headrush hairshine spray my fine hair looks pretty and I receive complimemts. (My hair can look awful)This Houston climate is very bad for fine hair. I found that 409 cleaner removes the spray easily from bathroom fixtures which it coats.

I have very fine hair, maybe 4-5 inches past my shoulders, and I generally wear it straight or minimally styled and I just spray when my bangs are getting long and need a little control. I would say this stuff goes above the call of duty in the control department! I would have loved this back in the 80's to keep my giant layers in place...though it's a little much for my current style. My biggest peeve is the overpowering smell. It never seems to go away all day long, to the point where it overpowers my perfume and I begin to wonder if that is all people can smell on me. It's not a bad smell, just a bit strong.
I think it would be best for someone with a style that needs a LOT of hold (spikes, perhaps?). Also someone who doesn't wear cologne and likes the smell of their hairspray lingering over them all day. Oh, and I never noticed the great shine that so many people gushed about in other reviews. Personally, I'm going back to my Frizz-Ease and saving this for special occasions for maximum control where I won't be too close to other people.

I live in humid Florida and have tried many different hairsprays over the years. They would either not work, make my hair flat, or fail to minimize the frizz. The TIGI hairspray is fantastic. It's lightweight, effective and smells great. My hair shines and looks very natural.
