Water in Santa Barbara is very hard. I have always had to add a lot of vinegar with the detergent to get the dishes fairly spot free. Mrs Meyers does it without the vinegar and the dishes are nearly 100% spot free. I love the Basil scent, it is so fresh and clean smelling.

You know you love a product when you find yourself worrying they will stop making it!:)

Time to get use to using products that don't destroy water ecology. That means milder soaps and better designed machines. Friction is what should be removing particles with assistance from natural surfactants. Mrs. Meyer's products work just fine in my basic mid priced machine for regular dishes with no product build-up. I get off larger particles pre-loading but I don't pre-wash like some still do. I do hand wash my pots, pans, and specialty items so I can not offer feedback about the cleaning ability of them in the machine with this product. I do use the liquid dish soap from Mrs. Meyer's for hand washing and that product works great for me as well and not stripping my skin dry.

I use these two items together and my dishes just sparkle. I love the great fresh scent.

I really cannot believe how fresh it makes the kitchen smell wothout transferring to the dishes. Very nice mix for me since I just use vinegar as a rinse aid.

I really want to like this. I almost gave it 3 stars because I like all the other Meyers products so much. When they work, these things work, and smell lovely. But as expensive as they are, when 2-3 of every pack of 20 fail to open or dissolve, they are just not a good value. I am going back to Seventh Gen liquid when I run out of these. :(

I have used Mrs Meyers products for a couple of years now, and I love these dishwasher tabs better than the liquid version. The basil scent is my TOP favorite of all Mrs Meyers scents! Very clean, very fresh smelling.

It works. It's easy to use. But I don't think Mrs. Meyer has any idea what basil smells like. I grow basil. I eat basil. I love basil. This is not basil. The scent is upscale ladies' restroom. It is definitely not basil. I do not want my kitchen to smell like a restroom - upscale or not.

I was really impressed with the Mrs. Meyers dishwashing packs. They performed well in cleaning my dishes/silverware (no issues), are a natural product, and quite frankly, smell amazingly good. I was a little worried, because sometimes the natural dishwashing agents don't do such a great job, but these performed well. They are a little pricey, which is my only complaint (especially since there are natural brands that work for less $). But honestly, these smell so good, they fragrance my kitchen and are worth it! Plus, they take care of any dishwasher odors that come along occasionally.

I'm a fan of many of the Mrs. Meyers products, and particularly the basil scent, so I tried these in place of the Electrosol tablets I had been using. It smells great and does a good job with everyday china and dishes. Used in conjunction with rinse agent, it did a very nice job on glasses as well; without the rinse agent it left spots and a slight white residue. Unfortunately, the Mrs. Meyers detergent left all of my dishwasher-safe stainless-steel items with a dark film, almost as if they had oxidized. I was able to scrub it off by hand, but who wants to re-wash dishes fresh out of dishwasher? It didn't react well with clear, reusable plastic food containers either, leaving them with a cloudy film that couldn't be removed even with hand-washing. I haven't experienced either of these problems with "traditional" dishwashing tablets, so I think there is an ingredient (or, more likely, lack of an ingredient) that may be responsible for the results. Wouldn't purchase these again.
