I really liked the idea of this, but even if I added a little detergent to the mix, I really don't think this did the job of cleaning my laundry any more than just washing it with water and no soap would have. I really wanted it to work too.

you wouldn't believe that this weird little ball could do all it claims to do, but it does! the clothes come out smelling CLEAN. not like perfumey detergent, but just simply clean. oh, and i haven't seen a need to use any fabric softener sheets, either. i just got a new puppy, and have been using the laundry ball to wash the various items he's peed on, and it even gets those clean and fresh smelling. it is definitely worth every penny.

in my humble opinion, this product is a complete scam. My advice is to not get taken. I've gone back to using soap nuts. they are cheap, non=toxic, and they also have a big advantage over the greenwash ball: they work

I was very happy to find that product on the market in the US. People in Europe use it for years!!! I bought it without delay in January, and I'm very satisfied with it. I bought this because I really couldn't believe that this would work, but to my astonishment it really works great! I have been using it for 2 months and I have only had to add a small bit of detergent once and I was washing greasy jeans. I have found that a spray or two of pre-treatment stain remover works best on really tough stains like grass and blood but otherwise it cleans well without any detergents, liquid bleach or softners. I haven't had to buy any detergent in over 2 months and I've probably saved myself a good deal of money! What a great product!
