I'm saddened to see theses cross action tooth brushes the whole line is being discontinued. I'm now frantically trying to buy a bunch to have on hand for a number of years to come. I just won't put the battery in so no surprised battery leaks that might some day destroy the base unit. I have terrible problems trying to replace the brushes with the replaceable brush heads. I've destroyed numerous units and after the fourth destruction I gave up and decided it was more economical to just buy the whole unit with brush every time. Not a lot of difference between this one and the orginal cross action non bactera one. Except this brush is a tad more firm than soft. During my adult brace work that was perfect. But if given a choice I will usually go with the orginal soft unit. Been using since 2004 maybe 03. A long time. Took it on the road to NZ for a 8 week seasonal job in 05. Take them camping. Love them I get raved reviews at dentist office. Gum's I've been told are 20-30 years younger than my age. My age is into the 60's now. I hear it's quite unusual for the gum health I have and really except for flossing this brush I owe it to. Ok maybe genetics but have no way of measuring that. Parents didn't have the good dentistry my generation did. They also smoked. I don't. Husband uses the expensive Sonic care and I still get better results.

Per the value, this is a great product that does what it's supposed to do without spending a lot to buy the fancier electronic toothbrushes.

it is a little quietier then most. the round bottom isn't good as it won't stand up and the handle rounded on the back makes it hard to put toothpast on it as it doesn't lay flat and rolls over.

The brushes are too stiff.
Also, where/how do you store it??? Most frustrating is that the handle is too thick for a toothbrush holder - which I expect - but they didn't have the good sense to design it with a flat base so it could stand up! Helloooo......anyone test this out at home???
All my prior battery operated toothbrushes were flat bottomed so they could stand on their own, on my bathroom counter. This one has to lie on it's side, which can be unsanitary.

Use this toothbrush 3-4 times daily. Teeth feel clean. Do not like the noise level and bristles are too stiff. Will not buy this type again. Have used battery powered toothbrushes in past, but this one is not to my liking.

We have tried several of this type toothbrush. This one we like the best. The battery lasts longer than others we tried. The brushing action is spot on. Not too loud, comfortable in your hand.
