This really works! I have noticed a BIG difference in my shower. It does not get dirty as fast, does not show signs of soap scum, build up etc. All you need to do is push a buttom when you are exiting the shower and the cleaner beeps for about 15 seconds and then begins to spray all around your shower area. I definitely do not need to do as much scrubbing when I clean my shower now. Yes, you will still need to clean your shower but this product does keep your shower much cleaner and for longer. Plus you can purchase refills for it but they do last. You can use this everyday in your shower. I prefer to use mine every other day and Love the results. Plus, I do not need to take everything out of my shower. You can safely leave in your body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc. This product will not damage these products. I first opened it and had to get the directions out to be sure I was putting it together correctly - usually I don't need them. It takes 4 AA batteries, which is good that they are the most common kinda. The liquid gets flipped upside down and the seal gets punctured by a nozzle inside, and there is no other cap that goes on it. This means if you take if there is no cap. Also, it leaks a little if you tilt the machine. You are supposed to put the liquid in after it is all installed.Overall, it is quite heavy - between the base and the liquid. The liquids do smell nice - not too strong, just some 'freshness'. The hook aspect is the most unfortunate. I didn't realize it has to hang over the shower head - which is right where a shower caddy hangs - which nearly EVERYONE has! They need to some up with something else here...I want my shower caddy. You can hang it on the caddy, but you risk problems as the machine is heavy as said earlier. Also, it will likely hang crooked if you do it this way.As for the spray - it beeps for like 6 seconds once you push it, as a warning. Then it spins around for several seconds. THIS is where I determined it was not worth having it. Looking at the shower afterwords, I saw large streaked droplets. There was really not much liquid dispersed through the shower. It was only at the level of the nozzle too. And lastly, the spray was not in the form of a mist - they were large droplets that streaked horizontally because of the force of the spray. They were not drippy. So, basically, I think about 6 sprays with a daily shower mist is better (get where you need it, covers better, gets all over) and easier (no fangling, batteries, or anti-shower caddy positioning) and provides more options (than 2 smells from 1 brand). Unless you have a wrist or finger issue, or just like any kinda of gizmo, I do not recommend this. They need improvements. I paid about [$] for this kit and returned it. Only once a year do I do a manual clean. The problem is the nozzle does wear out(sprayer)....I called previously and you should turn manually counter clockwise and then works again. The down side is that mechanism that sprays the cleaning breaks at time. We end up having to replace the mechanism once a year or so. Why do I keep buying them? Because they work, all be it , not as long as they should. I would like to find a similar product of a better quality.
