I adore the scent of Neroli. This product, however, smells nothing like neroli. It smells like citrus and when you wear clothes that have been washed in it - after a few hours, the clothes smell sour. I'm super sad being that this was a very expensive detergent/fabric softener combo. I'm sticking with Zum products.

I absolutely cannot praise this detergent enough. It cleaned & softened laundry leaving the most uplifting lightly scented unisex aroma I have ever experienced not overpowering. Using a small amount with no softener and clothes were wrinkle/static free/ soft meaning using actually cost effective. I used "Fuzzy Wool Dryer Balls (large size)" sold at this site so between them got naturally clean perfectly wrinkle free sheets/clothes. I then washed pillows also without softener- when dried could still whiff gentle scent the next morning. I do have a large front load capacity washer/dryer. I admit this with regret; for years I used Zum Detergent "Frankincense and Myrrh" slightly more intensely scented with same results as far as needing less and softening and will still keep in laundry arsenal but-- I'm definitely transformed and in love with all Sea Salt Neroli. I intend to keep this well stocked treasure in my home forever.

The Caldrea laundry detergents are on the expensive side, but have unique scents and are concentrated. The cleaning power is decent also, but you will need stain remover for set in stains or heavily soiled clothes. Will not really brighten whites on it's own that i have noticed. I have tried all of the scents so far, and out of all of them, I have found the Sea Salt Nerloi, used in conjunction with the fabric softener, stays on clothes and sheets the longest. The scent is a strong, tangy, nerloi/ sea salt/ lemon combo. Not my favorite, so I add a little patchouli or clove essential oil into my HE dispenser, along with the detergent, to add a little spice/woodsiness to it. I got a good deal on it on sale with free shipping, so I am glad I tried it. Overall, I like it, but don't love it, and I am not sure if I would buy this again.

Although this is an expensive detergent, I really like that it is eco-friendly and safer for my family. It is best to watch for sales. This is my favorite scent of the few I have tried. It is light and not too perfumed.

SOMETIMES I BUY MY CALDREA FROM A LOCAL STORE...I'VE SMELLED THE SEA SALT NEROLI, BUT IN THE STORE DIDN'T THINK IT WAS ANYTHING SPECIAL. NOW I REALIZE I COULDN'T SMELL IT BECAUSE OF ALL THE OTHER SCENTS IN THE STORE....WELL BOUGHT SOME FROM DRUGSTORE.COM AND SIMPLY DIVINE. I WASHED A COMFORTER USING SEA SALT NEROLI AND LET IN LINE DRY IN MY BASEMENT. WITHIN 25 FEET, I COULD SMELL THIS AMAZING FRAGRANCE WAFTING FROM MY DRYING COMFORTER. I LOVED IT SO MUCH I WASHED MY SHEETS TOO. THAT NIGHT I HAD THE BEST SLEEP I'VE HAD IN YEARS..HAPPY AND SNUGGLED IN BREATHING IN THIS WONDERFUL, YET LIGHT FRAGRANCE...I'M A LIFER WITH THIS SCENT. I THINK THIS WILL BE GIFTED ALOT TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I've tried lots of detergents, and tend to stay away from most of the mainline types. I prefer the concentrated ones that do a good job, and last a long time and are cost efficient. This has a great smell. It's the first liquid detergent I've used in the last 20 years too!
