I purchased this and the Tigi On the Rebound. This product was the winner. It was very lightweight, which my thick hair needs. (My hair is somewhat between 2C and 3A.) I have used it on wet hair and dry hair -- it worked wonders on both. It was slightly crunchier than I expected, but not as crunchy as cheaper products (or gel). Plus, I have frizzy hair so I can't afford too soft of a hold.
