We use Shot Bloks as quick on the go sugar sources for type 1 diabetic family members. After trying several brands of jelly beans, gel packs, bars, and gummies, we've found this particular product to be the most consistent with respect to carb count and impact rate. It also tends to hold up well in both cold and hot/humid environments. Would highly recommend.

Having two older children with Juvenile diabetes,I am always on the lookout for transport-friendly types of sugar. (treat low blood sugar) This seemed to fit the bill...The strawberry tastes kind of funky but not bad......Plus the fact these are made by Cliff and do not look like the glucose tabs in the tube make it "cooler" to carry .......

I wanted to try something for a little boost during my longer training runs. Strawberry was the first flavor I tried based on the flavors available at my grocery store that did not have caffeine. (I don't need any help boosting my HR). It turns out I love the flavor though! They remind me of strawberry flavored fruit snacks from [...], but a little chewier. I had 3 throughout my 9+ mile run. I stored them in a ziploc bag in my shorts pocket and in mid 80s & sunny weather, they did not get gooey or messy. They were easy to chew, and I followed them up with water. They sat well in my stomach for the duration of my run. I have bought more of these in this flavor.
