I like this product and the Lavender scent works much better than the unscented. On really hot days and for working in the yard, it just doesn't cut it. There are times when I have to wash up and reapply multiple times on busy, hot days. It's taken over a year of applying this product before it actually started working "most of the time". I will continue to use this product on cooler days and on days where my work load isn't as hard. But for the other days I will use Arm & Hammer Essentials Deodorant with Natural Deodorizers, Unscented

This is the 2nd of three (3) Crystal Essence products I bought. I was so hoping the 'Natural' effect would work, sadly, none of their 'Natural' products have been effective. I'm not very "active" being in a wheelchair, so I was shocked at how quickly 'body odor' returned. (Was so hoping to get away from using more chemicals on my body.) I had 2 other friends try it out and they both came back saying the product didnt' work on them either.

I really like this deodorant, BUT 2 bottles have already failed me. The pump simply stops spraying when the bottle is still half full!

I tried this product hoping for the best. I love lavender and have other deodorants with lavender in them. I thought this would be a healthy change, but I just felt sticky. I was worried about lifting my arms for the rest of the day. Don't buy this.

Natural deos are tricky cos the unscented ones actually make the natural body scent smell a little strange so this deo is perfect as the scent is natural, doesn't irritate (though I am smell sensitive) when I do sweat (I am a yoga instructor) and the deo starts wearing off, it makes my natural smell really attractive and my boyfriend LOVES it. I highly recommend if you are a healthy natural person who doesn't want to smell too earthy!

Like so many others, I love the contents but am frustrated by the packaging - I am loathe to pay a premium price for a product where the pump starts to fail when 20% of the product remains.

I am happy with this product-effective, gentle and non-irritating. I have extremely sensitive under arms, not only can I not use the traditional antiperspirants with aluminum, but even "natural" brands have caused extreme irritations and not been effective to boot (esp. those from Maine). Keep in mind, Crystal will not keep you dry, at least not for me. In mild weather or air conditioned environments where you're not really sweating this will work, but if you're doing physical labor or outside in hot weather, you're going to have wet underarms. What this will do is stop the odor. Your body naturally needs to sweat, whether its unsightly or not this is a good thing. But smelling like I've been out digging ditches all day is not something I want, and this stops that completely. I go all day without reapplying, and the next morning I'm still fresh. I spray it several times under each arm and it takes a few minutes to dry. The scent is nice, a subtle floral. Crystal uses real extracts and essential oils, so you're not going to find fakey perfumey scents here. The scent lingers for awhile, but very much in the background and never conflicts with my daily fragrance I wear. I have not tried the other scents, but want to. I previously used the roll on version in the same scent and I like the spray much better. The roll on mechanism doesn't always work well and it's harder to control the amount of product under the arm-I often ended up with sticky pits. By the way, I have used about half the bottle and have not experienced any problems with the pump (though I have learned from other products that soaking or rinsing the pump out with hot water should solve the problem). I also think this product would be effective for use on other parts of the body if you needed it.

I use the crystal rock and I also use this spray, I've ordered this spray (in various scents) and while I think the product works great...the pump on the spray bottle needs to be replaced. Every time I buy one of these the pump begins to malfunction after about 10 uses. I've tried rinsing it out, but it doesn't seem to help. I've gone back to using the rock

In my quest for an aluminum-free deodorant, I've tried several brands. I've also tried other forms of the Crystal brand deodorant. This spray is by far my favorite. It lasts several hours and even protects pretty well on warm days and throughout a good workout. No natural deo lasts forever, though, so the real advantage to this spray is the fact that you can reapply if necessary. Solids and roll-ons get funky if you do that, because the bacteria from your body gets on the product. But because the spray never touches you, it remains effective, and can be reapplied after workouts. Other pros: it's clear, leaves no residue on clothes, and the fragrance is fresh but not overpowering.
