Maybe I shouldn't have given this FIVE stars, because I still have yet to try everything out there yet.....OH, wait, maybe I have....but for now, it's a FIVE for me. I've tried SOOO many I can't even count. I've even tried several on top of each other....so if one worked, I wouldn't know which. But, this one I tried alone with nothing else with it to see how it worked......so I have some slack with the four stars. I read one review that said "it's a bit on the expensive side"....but I paid [$] at my local drug store....I don't consider that expensive. Not when I've paid almost $40 for one product. So, I bought this, tried it and "WOW" was my first response after just the first use. My bangs were DOUBLE the volume and thickness as they usually are. I am almost 66 and do look much younger than my age, but my thinning, very fine hair has been a stressful thing for me because of a medication I have to take. I NEVER wear my own hair, other than my bangs....I curl them....I wear several different hair pieces at different times that match my hair pinned on the back of my head with my other VERY thin hair twisted up in a barrette. But, my dream would be to be able to get a nice body wave and wear MY hair in a nice style again. This product is giving me a bit of hope. I've ordered a hair system called "Nioxin System 3 For Fine, Chemical Treated Hair Starter Kit". I chose the "chemically treated" because of my medication probably being built up in my hair. It had VERY high ratings from every site I went to. So....with hopes of that and this Got2b Fat-Tastic Thickening Plumping Mousse, I may have a nice head of hair again. I wanted to write a review because I depend on them SO much before I EVER buy anything, anyplace. Try it. I don't think you will be disappointed!!! Usually, I can coax my hair into loose curls with some volume by scrunching it while blowdrying it upside down. With this product, though, my hair is only mildly wavy and has no body whatsoever, even drying it the same way. It feels sticky and has a residue that probably accounts for the satin-to-dull appearance. Of course, that's not to mention my head now smells like a freshly cleaned hotel room - blech! I will definitely be returning this and going back to my usual standby products - Pantene Curls Anti-Frizz Creme + Focus 21 Sea Plasma spray. THIS combo actually gives my fine hair plenty of volume (body + thickness) and curl definition, with no nasty smell or icky residue. I'd definitely give "Fat-tastic" zero stars if I could...it's useless for my hair! I use a substantial amount of this mousse to saturate my hair; when blow dried, the hair is substantially thicker because the mousse coats it.

This is the best product I've found to give me good body and volume. My best tip is to apply it to towel dried hair and wait a few minutes before you blow dry and style.

Comments about Got 2b Fat-Tastic Thickening Plumping Mousse, 8.5 oz: If you use too much it does make your hair feel sticky. I am 64 and all my life have had thick hair and straight. It is still very straight hair, (I wear it just below chinline) but thinning now and barely grey, mostly brown. After using this product and styling, my hair has fullness and stays styled throughout the day. A small amount, about a tablespoon size, is more than sufficient for my usually flat hair.

Comments about Got 2b Fat-Tastic Thickening Plumping Mousse, 8.5 oz: If you have straight, baby-fine, flat hair that sticks to your head like silk on an ear of corn, then this is the best mousse ever!!! It doubles the volume of my hair - no exaggeration. I'm not looking for anything to make my hair shiny - it's already too shiny. And in order to make hair shiny, you have to make it soft, and if you make it soft, you also make it flat. I don't need that! I need texture to fluff my hair away from my head. This mousse definitely does that. I don't know how it works if you don't blow dry your hair after you use it. I always blow dry my hair. It may not be for people with curly hair, or people who don't already have shiny hair, but if you have straight, flat, fine hair, I highly recommend it. I don't know what I would do without it.

I have attached a picture from last year. My hair is longer now, but the curls are still just as great, if not better!

I have fine curly hair, and with the GOT2B mousse, my hair doesn't get all those little fly aways. I use it on dry hair to smooth, and it stays that way!!! Happy Happy Joy Joy!!
