Nexxus wouldn't post my review on their website because " it did not meet all our website guidelines". This is what I wrote verbatim:

Ingerdients have Changed

This new formula doesn't clean my hair at all, and leaves a really, really heavy residue behind. I had to wash my hair twice with a clarifying shampoo to get it out! I've been using assure/ensure since the 80's and it has changed ingredients before, but this new change is ridiculous. Did anyone at Nexxus try using it before they put it on the market?

I really wanted to like this shampoo. It smells wonderful, but it leaves my hair super greasy. It feels like I haven't washed my hair in a week immediately after my hair dries. Very disappointed!

I have used Nexxus shampoo for years but another type. Nexxus Diametress luscious volume) Still like it so I've been comparing that with this one for colored hair. I believe i does keep my color in tact much better then the regular shampoo, but I noticed how 'fly away' my hair is with it, which I don't like. There is so much static that if I happen to use my normal brush I can't get it to lay back down. So, I stopped temporarily and went back to my 'old faithful. I don't want to toss the new one, so might just use it in-between occasionally just to use it up. Plus I do want to see if I restart it after some time, if the fly away hair will return? So far the jury is still out....

I think this is the new formula, I have used Nexus products before and loved them. This product doesn't lather and makes my hair feel oily. It does help with the frizz, but feels like you didn't wash all of the shampoo out of your hair. I tried using less because it doesn't lather much, but still feels oily and looks dull rather than clean and shiny.

I want people to know that most of these reviews are for the "old" color assure that has sulfates. I do not know why the reviews for a totally different shampoo show here. I only know this for my review shows a few places below for the old formula

I wouldn't say this is an exceptional product, but it does the job. It cleans without making my hair feel like straw like some other shampoos do, doesn't leave an icky residue, and it has a nice subtle scent.

Normally I see a lot of color washout after I freshly dye my hair. I shampooed with this less than 24 hours after a dye job and I had ZERO yes ZERO color run out! It retained 100% of my new color! First time in my 43 years on earth I had no color loss! And on the first shampoo!!! Love the conditioner also. Hair is like pure silk!!

This is my favorite shampoo. My hair is very shiny and healthy from using it. I highly recommend it.

i like this shampoo alot. It is great for colored hair. I have tried many shampoos for colored hair and this one does not dry your hair out. It leaves it soft and with shine.

I think it works fine. I don't think it is anything amazing, but it is a good price and I'm sure it will last me forever.I was thinking that nexus used to smell like coconuts, (which I liked, it reminded me of vacation),but it just has a nice light scent. But I think it works fine.
