I've been using these pads for years and they're the best I've found. Yes, they are oily but they are the only thing I've found that easily and gently removes waterproof mascara. After using them I gently blot the oiliness off my eyes with a tissue or cotton pad with warm water. It comes right off. If you don't use waterproof mascara or don't like the oil on these pads, Almay makes another pad without the oil. These pads have never irritated my eyes or skin -- but of course, everyone's different. This is the best eyemakeup remover I've ever used -- it works without having to rub too much or pull or tug on my eyes.

I just got them and I have to say it's so oily and greasy it's almost disgusting to feel it on my face. BUT it does the job very well. Takes any kind of makeup right off with out much effort but cause the trouble of getting all of the oil off your face. So i think a good makeup removing facial cleanse might be a better way to go. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

This does a great job of removing eye makeup, but it is extremely greasy, and despite being hypo-allergenic, it irritates my (very sensitive) eyelids - so be careful if you have very sensitive skin.

I bought this because I thought a little added moisture before cleansing around the eyes would be a good thing. I'm pushing 50 but don't have any lines or wrinkles so I thought this would help me keep it that way. This stuff is waayyyyyyyy too oily to the point of not being effective. The pad is pretty small (I've got large eyes and lids so I find I need 2 pads to even clear the makeup). I don't wear heavy eye makeup, just an everyday professional look. I really don't like these and would never buy the oily version of this again. I'll use them up because I bought them, but will not buy again.

these take off any eye make up - and when traveling I use them to remove face makeup also. They are gentle, non-irritating and non-drying.

I'm a moderate makeup user (non-waterproof mascara, shadow, occasional liner) and I found this to be unsatisfactory in a number of ways. 1. Too oily and heavy. It stuck to my lashes long after I used it and several attempts to wash it off and irritated my eyes and messed with my vision a little bit. When I wore contacts it was a nightmare. 2. It didn't really remove the makeup. It certainly couldn't compete with Klorane (my fav) or Neutrogena or Lancome (my 2 runners up that have a mildly oily texture that I like). 3, It's basically mineral oil (something I only noticed after purchase), an ingredient that has never worked on my skin (and probably doesn't work on too many others either). I picked this up for travel (convenience of pads) and I'm going back to my Klorane. It may seem more expensive, but a little goes a long way.

This is not a wipe-n-go remover. If you are acne prone at all, skip this! Save yourself the $ and squirt baby oil in your eye if you want to know what its liketo use this product. It will get in your eye, it will irritate your eye, and the process is not devoid of scrubbing. I too wash my face after taking off makeup but you'll scrub so hard to get the oil out of your lashes (esp if you wear contacts and can't have foggy eyes) that it'll completely negate the "moisturizing" effects. I'd only recommend this for those nights that you wear way too much waterproof eye makeup.

This is the best drugstore brand I have used. (And I have used many!) If you have a problem with oil, THIS one is NOT for you. The oil is a plus for me. It makes the eye makeup removal easier. I wash my face after I remove my makeup anyway. There is one that is oil-free for the ladies who rather not have the oil. This takes off all my makeup. Mascara and ALL. I only used one pad per eye. It's very gentle and I do not have to 'tug' at my lashes to get it off. This is now a staple in my makeup arsenal! I also wanted to add that I have sensitive oily skin. This product is hypo-allergenic with wonderful ingredients. I love it!!

I don't wear waterproof makeup and usually find that i can get most of it off with my usual cleanser...I changed my usual cleanser to one i didn't think was gentle enough for my eye area- so I decided to try this to remove all of my eye makeup. it is truly horrible- and I would give it zero stars if I could. Its extremely oily and the oil feeling is almost impossible to get off. It also gets in your eyes and blurs your vision (which is a little scary) and really stings. AND it doesn't really get it all off- I had to use 2 or 3 pads AND wash my face anyway. I really wouldn't tell anyone to get this.

I use waterproof mascara and have tried MANY makeup removers and still come back to this. This is the only product that completely removes my mascara. These are a bit greasy however I just wipe my eyes with a tissue and wash my face with my usual facewash and my makeup is completely gone. I would definitely keep using these and wouldnt know what to do if these were discontinued.
