My daughter and I have both tried many products for acne, including expensive ones, but this line from Burts Bees works really well. This is the first time in 10 years my skin is clearing up and not irritated. The other comments about it being smelly and oily I did not find myself. Coconut oil is used in the formula which is one of the best ingredients to heal acne. It clears my face without drying it out or irritating it and rinses clean, definitely not oily. People are afraid of oil thinking it will make their skin worse, but it's the opposite. It's working for me at 42 and for my daughter at 12. We are both happy and our skin looks great. Good stuff!

I have been using this product for a little over two years now, and I have nothing bad to say about it. I have EXTREMELY acne-prone, sensitive, and oily skin. (Just my luck, huh?) Virtually none of my skin was visible due to the amount of pustules I had. Being a, now 18 year old, teenager, this caused me to have a poor self-image, subsequently negatively affecting my overall confidence. I tried everything from Proactiv, to Clean & Clear, to prescription medicines, and nothing worked. Proactiv actually burned me and caused me to peel, which wasn't fun. Other products and cleansers helped slightly with the acne but did nothing for the redness. However, any progress I made from using the cleansers diminished in a matter of weeks. This pore refining scrub isn't abrasive or irritating, and always leaves my skin refreshed. I will admit there is what feels like a thin film left over, but it isn't anything that would make me change face washes. Even if you're reluctant due to the numerous complaints of the greasy residue left behind, this is definitely a product I'd recommend.

I bought this product on a whim at my local drugstore, because it was on last chance clearance. I think I paid around $4.00. I was excited to try this product, because Burt's Bees has always been a home run brand for me. I was excited to shower and try this product, but I was let down. As soon as I squeezed it on my hand, the smell was very very strong, and it almost reminds me of baby oil mixed with Windex. I proceeded to scrub it on my face. The beads are very small and gentle, and therefore would probably suit someone with sensitive skin. Upon rinsing this product off my face, I was left with a film on my face that made me feel like I hadn't cleaned my face at all, as I have naturally oily skin. Even after exiting the shower, my face felt greasy and sticky and my bathroom was filled with the products unique smell. I haven't noticed results, but I have not used this product for long either. I believe that this product would be most suitable for someone with dry skin, who doesn't mind strongly scented face washes. This product is not for me, and I will not be reperchasing. I will stick to my tried and true St. Ive's Blemish Clearing Acne Scrub.

Burt's is usually a pretty trustworthy brand but this wash falls short. Figured the price tag would be worth the investment, however, it falls short in effectiveness and post use. The apricot smell is pretty unbearable and the greasy shine left over makes it looks like you didn't wash your face at all. Disappointing, I threw more than half of it out.

I love this face wash. I have been using it consistently for the past year and it makes my face look great. I do not have really bad acne, so I would recommend this for an adult who breaks out occasionally. The whole time I used this face wash consistently I never had breakouts.

I ran out recently and started using another product (also from Burt's Bees), and my face starting breaking out in a few spots. I really believe it is because I stopped using this fash wash.

It's a natural product, this is what I like about it, it's gentle on the skin, but it does leave an oily film on my skin, that it's hard to wash off. This is the only reason I discontinued using it.

I normally love Burt's Bees products. I feel that this was a miss. It didn't do anything for my acne. My face is oily and I didn't feel that it's best suited for oily skin. The product itself feels like it'd be better suited for dry or normal skin. Also, I didn't like the smell of the product. The jojoba beads I think made it smell weird. The product seemed to get messy and come in gobs at a time.

Since using this product in combination with other acne control products I have notices a reduction in my pore size and less acne. It does leave a feel on your skin even after you wash it off like you've just put on lotion, but it doesn't seem to clog pores.

I was looking for a good exfoliating scrub. This is not it. It seems to just be a gentle every day cleanser. The exfoliating beads are very small and sporadic. Also, I just don't feel clean after, almost like a greasy residue is left on my face. I'll go back and stick to my St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

I use this every day in the shower. I love that it feels fresh and is not scented. I gently scrub it over my wet face and it helps to make my oily skin feel clean. Any extra I have in my hands will be used on my shoulders. It does not leave a greasy, heavy film behind, nor does it go the other way and dry my skin out. I can use this daily year-round, and have repurchased it. Basically a perfect tool in my fight against acne!
