ok, so I bought this face wash this past weekend. I was really excited because I read such great reviews from people, even people with sensitive skin like mine. (note:i am a teen, so idk if that helps or not) I also bought a moisterizer for combination skin by Neutrogena, which works pretty good. the first time i washed my face with it my face felt soft. howeverrrrr, a few hours later i broke out into a really bad rash along my jawline up to my mid-cheek and it was burning and red and itchy. so, after using it two times i switched back to my previous face wash (which had been the past 2 days) and now the rash is going away. now my skin is all cracked and dry on the bottom of my face. i am soo dissapointed because i thought this stuff would work for me. maybe i was just allergic to one of the ingredients...i dont know....i also got a few little pimples on my forehead since i used it.

I use this product morning and night. It does not irritate my sensitive/break out prone skin at all or leave that feeling of tightness I get with harsher cleansers.

What I don't like is the thin texture and it's hard to lather. However, I am now using it in the shower and I find it lathers up much better. Now, as to whether it cleans and/or prevents pimples, the jury is out on that yet. It's not a horrible product and I like that it has no scent but when I used it after work to remove make up, it didn't seem to work very well. Now, using it in the morning, I guess it cleans fine. Doesn't keep oil at bay but then I don't think it promises that anyways. I'll use the bottle up and then see how I feel! Not sure if I'd recommend to anyone!

I received this product free to try from BzzAgent and was impressed. This cleanser is very mild and good for sensitive skin. It makes my skin feel soft and supple after using. I do not think it is a strong exfoliant so it is good for everyday use. I would recommend this product.

What I love about this cleanser is its extremely light texture. It's very pleasant and easy to use. What's even better -- it gets rid of that oily feeling around my T-zone. I am extremely happy with it, and will buy again.

I use this product twice a day. In my experience cleansers have left my skin feeling dry or with a slight residue. This new Burt's Bees cleanser is the first one to smell so good and feel so light that I look forward to washing my face! I can't explain the smell other than to say that it beats my Aveda cleanser and certainly anything else I've tried. I find it completely non-medicinal in its feel and smell and it leaves my skin so soft that I initially thought it would lead to my skin becoming too oily--but it's been perfect. I would honestly recommend this product over anything else I've used: Aveda, Clinique, Dermalogica, etc. I don't know that it will be a perfect fit for every skin type, but it's the best place to start!

My favorite cleanser! I have over-40 acne and this cleanses without any harsh chemicals. I've added it to my regular routine. Not sure whether this is the product that has helped (Full disclosure: I also use a prescription retinoid AND tetracycline, but STILL get occasional zits!), but even with sensitive skin, this cleanser does not irritate my face and I've had no breakouts for a month. So it's probably doing no harm.

The gel cleanser isn't really a gel...well, it is too liquid-y to be one, so applying it is quite a hassle because it runs down your face quickly. Also, make sure you don't soak and drench your face with water when getting ready to apply the gel because it won't be effective. I was actually thinking of applying the cleanser on a tooth brush and then rubbing on my face but i don't know if that is a good idea. The smell is pleasant and what I mainly like about this product is that it is gentle and it leaves your face feeling so soft. I wouldn't say that it works over night, but it does work eventually after three days or so (of cleaning day and night). I use the blemish stick afterward so that helps a lot.

Great for everyday use. Beware that it is a little runny and looks clear in your hand, so it's easy to use too much. Just a couple of drops works into a nice lather and works well. This has helped control my acne.

I have tried more facial cleansers than I care to mention. All of them either make me look like a red faced racoon, or make my skin oilier due to irritation. I am so glad that I tried this cleanser! It gently cleans clogged pores without setting my face on fire! The product foams & rinses well too. The product is thin enough that you only need a few drops & none gets wasted in the bottle. There is a mild botanical smell which is slightly medicinal, but it is not strong and fades right away. I highly recommend the moisturizer as well! My face improved 100% in a week.
