I LOVE this face wash! Having struggled with very oily skin and acne since my pre-teen years, I've finally found something that gives me reasonably clear skin at 30. I had severe teen acne, treated with Acutane by my dermatologist, but even through my 20s I still had worse than average acne for my age. I tried three-step cleanser/toner products without great results. Burt's Bees has been the best thing I've found. I wash my face with it two or three times a day, and it doesn't dry my skin out and has greatly reduced my breakouts. It also doesn't feel overly moisturizing, which is hard to find. With such oily skin and living in a humid climate, I want my cleanser to dry my skin a bit, and this does the trick. If you have dry skin, you may want to follow it with a moisturizer, but for me just the face wash is perfect. I finally feel like I look normal for 30 and not like I've got a teenager's acne still. Also I love the fact that unlike many other acne washes, Burt's Bees doesn't bleach my dark towels or clothes if it gets on them. So many acne products have ruined my towels in the past, this is actually a huge perk of this product! I highly recommend it.

My kids use this every night to wash their faces. It is gentle to sensitive skin and doesn't cause any dryness or itchiness. Also keeps the pimples at bay.

I like this cleanser, the only comment I have is that it is quite thin/runny. If it were thicker, I think it would be perfect. Just seems too easy to overpour/lose product out of your hands.

My two pre-teen girls use this product. They have occasional mild acne on their forehead. This cleanser really works in reducing and eliminating the spots.

I would definitely say that don't expect absolutely amazing results if you have severe acne. I have struggled with cystic acne for a long time. After trying probably over 100 products, this is in my top 5. While I can't say it gave me 100% clear skin, I can definitely tell a difference with this face wash. My overall skin tone is much more even, and it has helped with the redness in my skin quite a lot. This face wash definitely helps with the minor acne that I get on my cheeks and neck. Overall, it leaves your face feeling extremely clean and fresh, without it being over-drying; it cuts through the oils on your skin very well. If you have mild to "average" acne, this face wash is probably great for you. I would say that my biggest pet peeve would have to be the packaging design. It often gets quite messy, and I'm not sure if it's just my bottle, but when I travel with it I find that whenever it tips on it's side the face wash will leak from the grooves of the bottle cap. Still, it's not enough to turn me away from this product.

I wished I would have purchased this sooner. I think this cleanser works great and leaves my face clean without feeling like it is stripped. I use this at night with my a facial brush for deep cleaning. A little of the gel goes a long way so the price is good. This works just as good as the expensive brands I used in the past.

I have been using an expensive prescription product for years. I am 64 yrs old,(people tell me I look 10+ years younger) with occasional breakouts that make me think I am still in my teens. Thought I would try Burt's Bees and WOW...Immediate results. My skin is soft, CLEAR, and it is clearing the redness from the healed blemishes. I'm not afraid to go out without make-up. My skin looks terrific and my daughters have commented on how good it looks. I've been telling friends about it too. I just LOVE everything about it. And the product goes far as you only need a little to thoroughly clean your face.

This is super gentle! It is a bit pricey, but a lot goes a long way. It lathers very nicely, and as long as your use a moisturizer it isn't too drying. I can NEVER use medicated facial washes because my skin is sensitive and I use other topical medications, but this one seems to be just fine! Highly recommended

I've heard about this product for long time. The key benefit is the BHA ingredient. After running out my last one, I start to try this one. It works well for me, clear my skin and reduce acnes/break outs.

I've seen some review saying this product causes breakout. I am thinking maybe the one's skin is problematic skin, they will break out sooner or later, this product just make it happen faster for its peeling effect from BHA. Allergy is a different story though.

This product didn't work at all for me. I have very oily combination skin. It's extremely oily but can easily develop dry patches when I use the wrong type of product. I'm also very acne prone. This cleanser made my acne worse. I wouldn't recommend it. I am going to try the Bare Escentuals purifying cleanser now to see if it works on my skin. I've heard good things about the product for all types of skin.
