Acne, watch out!

My daughter and I have purchased Burt's Bees in the past and when I found this acne spot treatment, I knew Burt's Bees and trusted in the name. Teenage acne is bad enough' but adult acne? (Why it should be gone!! I've washed diligently, tried antibiotics, and anything else I could try, as well as my daughter.) I couldn't believe the results when my daughter had a small breakout. She put the treatment on at night, and by morning could see a difference. In 1-2 days I could not see the acne spot. Same goes for myself. I really trust Burt's Bees!!!

When I first bought this product, I had high hopes due to the great reviews this product had. I was totally disappointed after I used it for two weeks. I didn't see any results at all but noticed that my pimples were getting bigger after I used the product (I bought everything - cleanser/acne solution/scrub etc.) nothing worked at all for me. I am a big fan of all natural products and have tried pretty much everything but was most disappointed by this product in particular as it is not cheap. Surprisingly enough I tried clearsil and my acne is getting better now..don't know what to expect from natural products anymore..it might work for someone else, but not for me..my skin type is oily and I followed directions of this product and used it for little over three weeks and stopped using it when I didn't see any results. Good luck!

I agree with some of the other reviewers that the product's smell can be pretty strong at first, however, it quickly dissipates and in the end, the result is totally worth it. Due to stress, I've had a serious outburst of breakouts and blackheads. My usual cosmetics wouldn't help. I started using Burt's Bees Targeted Spot treatment together with the purifying gel cleanser after receiving free samples. And right now my skin is really really clean, and most of all: non-oily -- something I've been unable to achieve for a long time. In fact, it seemed that my skin had adapted to all of my previous products (I've used Neutrogena, L'oreal, Olay, Biore, Aveeno, and more expensive brands such as Clinique) and it just kept getting oily around the T-zone. This just doesn't happen anymore. I'm really really happy with the product. PS: Usage tip. I tilt the bottle toward the breakout directly -- I find it easier than using a q-tip.

I will buy this product again . . .

And, in fact, have bought 3 more bottles of Burt Bee's salicylic treatment. I find this extremely effective on pimples. I use a q-tip to apply where needed, at night and during the day. I have moderate oily skin and I could see where this might be drying if used all over - just use it on the existing pimples and you will see a reduction by the next morning! Love the stuff and will definitely buy more.

This cleanser works great. Note that it's a little runny and looks clear in your hand, so be careful not to use too much. Just a couple of drops go a long way. It has a pleasant smell and makes a nice lather. Perfect for everyday use and seems to be helping to control my acne so far.

I used this product daily, and was not impressed. The bottle design is horrible. It is very hard to get any out, and the bottle does not hold very much. It is not worth the price. I have seen no positive improvement, and in some spots, it irritated my skin. The smell is not very good either, and it lingers for a while. Overall, not impressed at all.

No mess or waste of product if you use on a cotton swab, then just dab your pimple with it. Non-irritating, reduces swelling, fast relief and results. Highly recommend for those occasional hormonal zits. The fragrance is a bit medicinal but it disappears once it dries.

I love Burts bees products. so I didnt hesitate to try this it works ok but there is something wrong with the bottle design. Too much can leak out from the plug.other than that I would buy again.
