While it lathered really well and smells good, it dried out both mine and my boyfriends hair terribly, leaving a frizzy mess.

I have loved the smell of this shampoo ever since it first came out. And yes it actually does add some body to your hair. Now, if you use it a few days in a row, it will dry your hair out some, but just condition your hair a little more frequently, it's worth it to get some body to your "fly-away" hair. And any woman out there who has this texture of hair knows what I'm talking about, it's hair with an attitude...hahaha

I use this product twice a week because my hair which has always been thick and curly is starting to come out and get thinner. This shampoo smells real nice and my hair seems fuller since I started using it.

Really does add volume to hair. Can see a big difference when use ordinary Finesse.

For some reason this particular shampoo is not available in all stores, but I won't stray. The Volumizing version is the only one I'll use. It's gentle, clean well, smells good, and has a short list of ingredients. I wash my thick hair daily, but this is not drying and my hair feels lighter and clean enough that I don't need to use clarifying/anti-residue shampoo anymore. I've used several shampoos over the years, but this basic shampoo is the best!
