Better than most

I've tried a lot of scrubs and this one is one of the finest in the price range. This seems to have very fine granules for a great microdermabrasion/scrub effect. However, compared to Biore's Pore Minimizing Refining Exfoliator, this seemed to contain granules in less concentration (meaning, Biore feels more grainy/thick). I would say that this one would be an ideal choice for those that are interested in microdermabrasion/intense scrubbing at home but don't have much experience or have sensitive skin... and Biore is suitable for someone that wants to kick it up a notch. Having said that, these are miles ahead of other generic scrubs that have large granules that can't realistically help clean your pores.

This is the best exfoliator I have found. It is easy to use, goes on nicely, has a very fine feel yet it gets off dead skin and renews the pores thoroughly.

I'm suprised to see I'm the first to rate this product. I purchased this a few months ago and it is great to use between spa visits or instead of for those on a budget. I use a much more gentle exfoliator for normal use but once a week or so, or a few days after my skin has been roughed up by too much sun or winter dryness, this helps to get me back on track. Each person is different but I DO NOT recommend using this more than 2 or 3 times a week. You only need a dime sized amount and rub in quick circles around your face. I do use this in the delicate eye area although it says to avoid it, but just use a gentle hand when doing it. it really helps to refine lines and open the pores so that my cleanser/toner/moisturizer team can get in there and do the job.

Dot onto clean, damp skin, avoiding contact with the eyes. Use enough for a very thin covering over the skin. Gently massage in small circles upwards for 1 minute. There are diagrams to follow on the leaflet contained in the box. Don't use this product for longer than 2 minutes at a time. Rinse and follow with an SPF moisturizer. Only use twice a week.
