I really like this deoderant because it works really good compared to the other deoderants that I've used before. The smell is really great, and it glides on clear. The smell lasts a long time, and you don't perspire. You put this on, everyone's gonna be sniffing your armpits. My bushy armpits don't look so bushy anymore .. IT'S GREAT ! I recommend !

This makes my underarm skin soft. I think it does make the hair softer. However, I do not like the smell. I would buy another scent next time.

I almost gave this a 5 after reading the other reviews. I feel like most people are misunderstanding the products claim. It isn't saying it will cause you to grow less hair or for the hair to grow more slowly. The claim is that the hair will be softer (i.e. Not prickly) and less noticeable. What we are really talking about here is making the hair less course and this the product does wonderfully. I have used dove for a while because of the skin conditioning benefits. It is the only deodorant that has ever made me comfortable allowing my underarms to show, both because of the softer improved skin as well as the lack of white left behind. As for the scent I believe this is a highly subjective thing, I like it but I can see where some might feel like it's a bit strong. Finally my only complain and the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I don't feel it provides the best wetness protection. On days when I know I am going to be outside in the heat a while or preforming heavy activity I tend to use something a little stronger. Overall for normal day to day use I love this and love how it softens my skin and keeps that stubble prickly feeling at bay.

I bought this with a coupon so I wasn't worried if it worked or not like they claimed but I was surprised. The scent wasn't as floral as I thought it was going to be so it doesn't tickle my nose, plus it's great for applying right after shaving, soothes the skin way better then the other Doves. As for the claims as to what it does, I've only been using it for about 2 weeks but I have noticed a subtle difference in the hair. The thing is with anything you have to have patience. It balls up if you apply too much and gets pink residue on things if you don't allow it to dry (which doesn't take very long). Btw if you don't sweat very much this product will keep you dry all day and the scent lasts all day too.

Pleasant smell; very effective.

This does not smell like wild rose. I wore this the first time one hot and humid day working in my garden and I kept thinking to myself, somebody's cat must have peed in it. Horrors to find out it was me! I went back in the house to wash it off and, boy, I had to really scrub it off hard. This stinks and also doesn't keep me dry either. Awful stuff and threw it out.

I don't know how this product could claim what it does without being taken off the market already....you'd probably have to use it for years. it claims to make hair grow less, but I found myself shaving even more using it! it took forever to scrub the residue from my underams in the shower. and I put up with the terrible smell for weeks hoping it would work. yuck.

I normally sweat a lot....I usually have to use expensive perfumes several times throughout the day. I used this stuff for the first time and I only needed to apply it once....it lasted through the whole day! I noticed that I sweated less and smelled fresh the whole time! The white residue doesn't last very long and it doesn't stain clothing either. I bought this for traveling purposes....and I will definitely purchase it again! The smell is soft and soothing. Highly recommended!
