I took this product to alleviate arthritis pain, and it started working within a couple of weeks. I gave it to my 92-year-old mother (who hates fish), and it's been helping her, as well. It's a great way to get many of the benefits of fish without eating fish. My mother says (and I agree with her) --- the only aftertaste she gets is lemon-y. She took all of the first small bottle I gave her and wanted an additional order. I highly recommend this product.
