Bought this because it checks cholesterol.
I can't find any place to purchase the cholesterol
test strips that work with this machine.

If I only wanted glucose checking, I would have
bought a different dedicated and cheaper machine.

If you are considering buying to check cholesterol,
then you should check availability of purchasing
extra test strips before you make final decision.

The product works good. I was excited to buy this Item & had searched the Internet for the best price. I made my purchase here, but after it was delivered to me, I found the same Item at a local drugstore for $20 cheaper than I paid. I almost sent it back for a refund, but didn't because of the return postage cost & also having to wait several weeks for a refund.

The only thing else I would say is be careful when adding the blood to the test strip. It must be done correctly or the strip is ruined. Follow the directions carefully, as I ruined 2 strips before I was able to add the blood correctly.

I purchased this to more closely monitor cholesterol at home. The device first gave readings of Hi and on the next strip gave a reading of Lo. A reading of Lo is for cholesterol below 100, which was not the case here based on lab results. It is clear that the device is inaccurate.

This meter is very hard to use and has to be coded. I have another meter that does not need coding, bur wanted something to check ccholoestrol . Would not recommed it to anyone.
