I use this on my 8 month old daughter who was born with A LOT of dark brown hair (thanks for her Italian genes)...her hair is long for a baby her age, her hair is soft and it curls at the ends a lot. I put her to sleep on her back, so her hair tangles horribly on the back. None of the detanglers were working on her. None of the conditioners were working either. I would pull on her hair by mistake when I would brush it, she would cry and I would cry with her and I didn't want to brush her hair anymore, but I had to do it. She would still wake up with tangled and knotted hair. Some conditioner would weight down her baby hair and make it greasy, or they wouldn't condition her hair at all. I was afraid to brush her hair, I didn't want to be the cause of her crying (when I pulled her hair by mistake while I was brushing her); so I became determined to find something to resolve this, didn't matter the cost. So on my search and research to find something for her hair, I learned about ALL the dangerous chemicals that are on beauty products, EVEN baby products. That is when I got rid of ALL beauty products (and I had A LOT, I was such a beauty product junkie), and started to use organic, natural, chemical free, gentle, vegan products ( do not be fooled, some of these products still contain harmful and chemicals, so please do your research BEFORE buying ANY product, I do). This detangler was the first detangler conditioner I bought since I became aware of the dangerous of beauty products and this was the last detangler conditioner that I bought for her!! I give her a bath head to toe with Castile (all olive oil soap) and I put a tiny little drop of this in her curls (not her roots) leave it on and comb her hair. Her hair dries soft, shiny, and tangled free. Her curls look more defined, her hair looks beautiful! She would wake up with no tangles!!!!! and even thought she hates getting her hair brushed (I guess she thinks is going to hurt), it DOESN'T hurt her, no more pulling her hair, no more TEARS!!! THIS STUFF ALSO SMELLS HEAVENLY. It smells lightly of REAL Lavender, not that strong in your face masculine synthetic lavender;it is the comforting that makes you happy and relax lavender. The scent is so light and beautiful that I wish it would linger on her hair, but it doesn't, it disappears almost immediately. I will not try to use anything else on her hair. I also use this on my 6 year old daghter sometimes and it works great on her thin dirty blonde long hair. She also wishes that the scent would linger on her hair.
I love Nature Baby products. I use this conditioner for my daughter, who has wavy curly hair. Her hair used to tangle so bad every day that she refused to let me brush it because it hurt. But with this conditioner, her hair becomes soft and easy to brush, without making it look greasy or limp. The smell is great. I also use the corresponding bath and shower gel. The fact that this is a green product makes it even better.
