This mascara goes on evenly and slightly thicker so you only need a coat or two to have dramatic volume, but it dries quickly enough that it doesn't weigh down your lashes and pull out the curl. Even applying two or three coats won't clump or "glop" and I get at least one person a day asking me, "Are you wearing false eyelashes?" Also, it's enduringly waterproof and will last the whole day without flaking. I've tried almost every waterproof volumizing mascara on the market and this is my hands-down favorite. It's fantastic and I definitely recommend it.

I have very long lashes to begin with, but prefer a thickening mascara to make them stand out even more. This mascara is fantastic! It thickens without clumping and glopping everywhere, but is dramatic enough that one or two coats is enough. (I get asked constantly if I'm wearing false eyelashes) It also dries fast enough that it won't pull the curl out of my lashes and is so waterproof that it will last two days. Seriously, this stuff is great and the only mascara that I buy.

For years I used Maybelline's Volum Express, just the "regular" version or whatever it is, the 3X volume. I bought this because it was on sale in my grocery store, but it's a mess. It really gets too much on my lashes at once, so they are super wet, and then it just gets all over my lids, lower lashes, contacts, etc. It does make my lashes look crazy long, but I prefer to have a soft, thick fan of lashes, whereas this just separates them into spikes. It honestly just looks a bit ridiculous. I suppose it's good for stage makeup (though fake eyelashes are easier at that point). It's a multi-tool process putting this stuff on, only possible with my metal eyelash comb. And once it dries, forget every getting it off. Even my eye makeup remover can't make it budge (but yes, it does work on most waterproof mascaras). This mascara is out of control. I much prefer Maybelline's Full N' Soft and will stick with that.

I like this. It's more vibrant than others I've used, goes on thicker.
