Great lip cover and shine.

I was so excited when I opened this up. It looks amazing in the bottle. It kinda has an oil and water appearance, and it's really neat to watch the red globules suspended in the clear liquid. Unfortunately, then I decided to try it out. I shook it up, and put it on. I like the tingle from the cinnamon, and it did plump my lips, but the color never took beyond the inner portion of my bottom lip! I applied 3 coats, and the color deepened where it was visible, but never took to my lips. So disappointing! I'll use it as a primer under lipstick, but would not recommend buying it. Stick with DuWop's clear plumpers if you're going to purchase any of them.

Disappointed in the color and that it doesn't plump your lips.... way overpriced for what you get!

This product comes out blotchy and doesn't seem to set in well. However, DuWop's other products are outstanding.

Ok, I'm going to try to clarify Twilight Venom on this site the same way I did on MUA. First and foremost, the product is meant to assume Vampire culutre-that means, if you were a vampire, took a bite out of someone and wiped your mouth, your mouth would NOT look magically, perfectly stained. I've been using this product since it was called Vemon V...a long time now. The point of the first application is for the color to gravitate to the center of your mouth and leave a berry stain only there-as if you had just wiped the blood off-get it?? The hot cinnamon 'BITE' or sting that goes along with the stain also coincides with the Vamp theme. Even the directions state that the stain can be worn different ways. If you wan't a deeper and more even color, all you need to do is apply a few coats, brush on well and blend with your finger to smooth out. The color lasts for hours and does turn more crimson in a few coats. On a side note-this stuff looks amazing with this seasons new sheer blacks, like Urban Decays Oilslick Lipstick or MAC's Blackfire lipgloss. No. it's not really a product for preppy or overly tanned gals..it's more for the goth, lolita, 'vampy' types--or anyone willing to be daring enough to try something new, work with it-AND WORK IT!! ; )

There have been many bad reviews about this product but I absolutely love it, I already bought 2 back-ups. I use my fingertip to apply color evenly and put a couple layers on to get a nice deep reddish color. I like to top it with UD carney gloss or moonlight venom. I hardly use anything else anymore!

I really wanted to like this. But you have to shake it vigorously to mix the red stain into the clear part of the gloss. I have yet to apply it where my whole mouth is stained red. It only seems to stay red around my mouth on the bottom. I've tried to apply it differently but it never works as it should. It also has a very strong cinnamon taste, which I don't really like. I didn't notice anything different about my lips in terms of size, either. Save your money!
