This product is much more effective and much less expensive. I don't even need the EL brown bottle anymore. Every day and night I just put this on generously and let it do its trick. Only thing I wish is it has another cream option with SPF, so I don't need to put anything else on top of it, L'oreal has the lotion with SPF but it seems a bit too light for me in winter. This moisture filler is more greasy to me than the other product of the collagen line, so I don't recommend it for oily skin types, but do acknowledge that it absorbs and perfects in an instant. The shine seems to come on just after the product is absorbed by the surface layer of skin. When I run my finger lightly over my face afterward, I feel the tacky residue on my face. I won't buy this again, but I will use what I have until it is gone. I may use it on my hands, as another reviewer mentioned. That seems to be a better use for me. With its silky smooth texture, my skin 'drank' this product. Many other products are heavy, greasy or tacky. This product applied well and left my skin hydrated and feeling fresh.
