This definitely adds volume and makes my lashes stand out, but the brush is a little odd. It's uneven, so it takes awhile to apply, as you're trying to use all parts of the brush on each clump of lashes you're trying to cover. The brush looks as though it's defective. The formula is good, though - not much smudging and dries very quickly. You MUST use a lash comb to get rid of clumps. If you have long lashes, you should use a spoolie to prevent transfer onto your cheeks. I wish I could use this mascara with a different brush.

I love this mascara. I have short lashes with a fair amount of volume but I've always longed for the long luscious lashes. I usually curl my lashes and this mascara is great because it keeps them curly! Most mascaras always bring my lashes down. The mascara is not like other ones I have tried that are "wet" when you apply. This one is more to the "dry side" but it doesn't even flake. I'm a fan of the "natural look" but when going out, I love love the dramatic lashes" (not to extremes, of course, just enough to make people wonder "are those lashes real"). One coat is enough to give you the natural look of long lashes. 3 coats are good for the dramatic look. Applying too much DOES clump, obviously. So if yoi want a dramatic look without clumping, apply 2 coats. Wait. Apply another 2 coats. Wait. and so on until you receive the effect you want. My only complaint is that by the end of the day, I do have under eye circles due to the mascara but its very very minimal. You can easily take it off. It's just great!

The mascara itself is quite decent, no flakes or runs, surprisingly effective. But the brush sucks. I have to use my Loreal telescoping mascara brush to avoid the clumps & smears from this outdated brush design.

The first time i used this mascara, i loved it, untill i was freshning up my makeup and when i went to put on a second coat (like 5 hours later). It was flaking off so bad, i had tons of tiny black mascara flakes under my eyes, and then my eye lashes were sticking together, it was horrible. Also, when i washed my face, it was so terribley hard to get off, i got mascara in my eye, like 4 tiny flakey pieces. I hate it, i wish i never tried it, Now i think they should take it off the market.

I love this mascara!! Even better than the pricey mascara I had just purchased! This mascara doesn't run or smudge, it goes on so easily and adds AMAZING volume! So great! It does flake a little bit, but that's a small price to pay for such amazing lashes! I have been using Latisse, so my eyelashes are long, but not very thick; with this mascara they look long, thick, lush...some people have asked me if I'm wearing false lashes! LOVE IT!!!!

Amazingly bad! Usually I love L'Oreal mascara's, all have been great quality for the price.

Not so much with this one!

Brush is big and awkward so that it is difficult to get in close w/out getting mascara where you don't want it -- on eye lids and all around general eye area. Applying more coats tends to make it clump. And over the course of the day, noticed little flakes dotting my cheeks. Difficult to remove with just soap and water -- and I did NOT get the waterproof formula.

Would NOT recommend!!

I have naturally long lashes, but need a thickening mascara to help fill them out. This is a great waterproof volumizing mascara! Two coats leaves me with thick, lush lashes that don't run or smudge all day. I think I'll be buying again.

I have been using Cover Girl waterproof mascara for years, I saw this and decided to try something new, big mistake. The product is clumpy, the bristles are too clumsy and it smudges. Save your money and try Cover Girl Professional in waterproof, blackest black.
